For reference:

Sarissa: Attaches to a boltgun, lets one re-roll wounds.

Power Spear: Two-handed power weapon. Grants +1 to strength in close combat. The user strikes first upon receiving a charge. Against other units which always strike first, this model strikes at the same time as them.

Power Stake: Still a work in progress. I am open for ideas on how to do this, but essentially it's a daemon and psyker killing spear which upon hitting a psyker literally injects burning holy promethium into the target. Two-handed weapon. At the beginning of the assault, the player chooses wether the weapon will ignore normal saves or invulnerable saves. If a Psyker fails its save against a wound caused by the Power Stake, roll a D6. On a 3+, the psyker model is removed from the game regardless of how many wounds it still has remaining. For the purpose of this weapon, all Daemons are considered psykers.

Stake Launcher: As the secondary attack of the combi-stake launcher in C:WH, except it isn't one-shot.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

I think you should be consistent in terminology with respect to CCW and chainsword, it gets kinda confusing. Also, you're already giving them a Bolter w/Sarissa and a CCW, can you get two?

I like this. Good solution to what a sarissa does, and the spear is unique.

This seems overly complex. I can picture myself needing to reference every time I use it in a game. How about just remove from game if it gets through the saves. Less headaches, no choosing the save, and no extra rolling. Effects demons and psykers.

...edited for typo...

IMO combi-melta should be the same cost as a combi-flamer (10 points) and they should be able to have one heavy weapon per every 5 models.

If Dominons are the shooting weapon specialist, than perhaps Celestians should be the assault weapons specialist. Giving each Celestian the option to equip Blessed Weapon for 15 points would help greatly against heavily armoured infantry.

No I'm not. It is supposed to say CCW OR Bolter w/Sarissa

As for the stake... I like the choosing and then test to see if it removes better. Dunno, it isn't a very good anti-daemon weapon if daemons take their invulnerable saves against it in my mind.

Mn, perhaps. But this is (IIRC) how GW prices them.

Dominions are fast attack scouts / special weapons troops in this codex.
Retributors are heavy support ranged troops.
Celestians are elite assault troops.

Look at the blessed weapon in the codex I linked to.

15 points for a master-crafted weapon which strikes at initiative and doubles strength, and every member of the squad can have one? A bit too much...

It's more reliable than Repentias and fair compared to Grey Knights, Blood Angels, and Tyranids. FNP is a force to reckon with. There isn't enough Str8, AP1 or 2, and weapons that ignores armour save in Sisters of Battle.

True, but if I were to go that route, I think i'd prefer to give them power spears instead, because blessed weapons are supposed to be rare, treasured, even downright unique artifacts in the Imperium, even relic weapons are more common.

Actually, I think I'll offer that for a vote.

Who here thinks I should give the option to equip ALL the unit with either BP+power swords or bolters+power spears?

Eviscerator should be 15 points per model so it matches the guard and Grey Knight Codex.

Noted. What do you think of the phalanx idea, all power spears? The unit would give up theri second CCW or their bolter for it, so they'd just have a pistol and the spears-- one attack each, but they get first attack upon receivign the charge (two upon charging, but they attack at I4 then in initiative order) and it's S4.
