So i have decided to make a Blog about my upcoming army, in hopes that it keeps me on track so that i can keep the army moving forward so i am not just letting things sit. so i began with building a list from Army Builder and i came up with this:

This list is majorly because i want to have fun with the models and i enjoy their theme, not really for competative play. so this is what i have set up so far:

2x daemon prince

.......yep thats it so far, however i have a battleforce enroute and i have not decided if i will use my extra land raider for chaos, it was originally intended for Grey Knights but i have found i like using only my Crusader. so i have attached a picture of the 2 princes assembled and a painted up GK banner. I painted the banner to see what kinda detail i can get from this spray paint i have and i think it turned out very well. I hope you enjoy the blog and that i keep up with it.

So i am way behind in keeping this up to date but here are a bunch of newly painted models and some WIP, next on the block is to make up some Predetors and finish painting my Defiler, then i plan on converting (using at Kit bash method) some Chaos Raptors

So i have a few more pictures of some already finished product. I have both of my Daemon Prince and my Vindicator. I dont really like the Generic daemon but i needed a second for now, i plan on getting another prince from forgeworld or something to make it all more Nurgle then the regular one but needed 2 for the time being and i had this one sitting around. and thank you for checking out my stuff i hope to have more updates here soon, i will be buying some more green stuff soon as well to try and convert some more nurgle to my rhinos that i have they look kinda bland.....

little more nurgle stuff, painted up Typhus today, ill prolly never use him since i dont wanna use terminators but i do really like the model so here he is.

I am *really* liking your paintjobs. You are the only other person I've seen that has gone for the "glowing rotten" look. I think it's pretty awesome myself. Definitely stands out against other Plague Marines armies.

The Vindicator is excellent, and Typus is just an awesome model. I have him but I've never painted him up, will likely be one of the projects I'll try once I've got everything else taken care of.

Thank you for the compliments, the next big project of mine is to get the other 13 death guard (plague Marines specifically) painted, followed by a Nurgle'd Defiler, not too much green stuff on him but i still think he looks pretty nice, i should have a picture of him tomorrow (hopefully)

Hello again, more updates (this is fun) I worked on the Defiler last night and we able to get him green'd and some of his brass trimming. the picture below is a little bright as i took this photo at night and there is not sufficent lighting in my home to not use the flash on my phone to take pictures(need a lamp) but here he is and Thanks for Following!

That is completely horrid in the most Nurgle way possible, well done! I like the GS work a lot. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

So i am on a Roll, but i decided to show a pictue of the bases i am using for all the unit models and monstrous creatures. I ordered these bases from Dark Art Miniatures. saw it from an ad in the top right for Dakka. The bases came bare and i needed to paint them but i would not have it any other way. so here they are.

I love the green, it's very bold and helps make everything stand out well.

My only gripe is with that Defiler, I think because it's so bright it's drawing attention from the rest of the models. Which, isn't a big deal mind you. I guess with Eldar I just get used to my infantry being brighter than the vehicles!

Sorry for no update yesterday was quite busy, and really didnt get to work on anything, but i have a few updates now.

The Defiler is coming along but i am starting to thin that the plate on his chest is too much, the paint makes it stand out a little much with how i painted it. so i will have to try and play around with it, maybe just darkken it up. I also based Typhus becuase i had the extra base for him so he is here as well.

And the last picture is my obliterators WIP, yes they are just sloppy Terminators but i like how they look and want to keep to the theme of the army making them look Death Guard.

I just recently ordered more Nurgle heads to make a 2nd squad of Chosen with Meltas and i ordered the Bits to make 2 Predator Tanks.

and my new project is a Campaign map using the Planetary Empires box, i got the idea of what i wanna do on Dakka (link below) i plan to have 5-6 planets made up of 7 tiles each. Each planet will be linked to the adjecent planet, this will allow for Space Battles if they are included and just regular movement, I will be recieveing some help from a friend of mine to paint the tiles while i do most of the assembling of the actual map. I will show how that goes on this thread as well but will prolly be far and inbetween to keep to the theads title, unless there is a growing interest in it.

If you have any Ideas on what i should do with the Defiler short of breaking him apart let me know thanks and enjoy. And to all who follow this thread and that have commented thank you again, your comments keep pushing me to do more.

I think you're on the right track w/ a wash over the chest plate. It will bring out the recesses and tone down the bright color overall.

The Typus model looks GREAT! Good work on the base, too.

Ok so no picture update today but I do have a special surprise for everyone in the morning. I was playing a warmachine steamroller tournament and I saw it on the shelf and said to myself "I must own this!!" so now I do one built I will showcase this new wave will be fun to paint!

ok so like i said i was playing at a Warmachine tournament and i saw this model while looking around the store, originally i thought that these models could only be ordered off the internet but was obviously proven wrong. I also saw the wings hanging up next to him and thought it was love at first sight. So i bought them and some modeling putty, (they didnt have real green stuff) and i built the man of the hour and my new Daemon Prince and here he is!

hello again, so i was working on the defiler slightly not really any changes to him, the new daemon prince started eyeing me and i felt like i needed to paint him, it was wierd like i was possessed to start him or something lol. Well anyways i started to paint him but i wanted him to have that fleshy rotted look but "rotting flesh" is too light so i mixed in a little "camo green" and i think the skin came out great i cant wait to put a wash up and over him. he also has this shoulder pad and chest plate on hit left side(your right) that i wanted to paint a brass color to match the rest of the armies armour. i like the outcome so far and plan to actually use him in a game tonight and see how well he like to kill things. I will certainly let you know how it went. well here are two pictures of him and his progress, one is of his wings primarily and the other his armour, they seem bright right now but i see the wash dulling it out quite a bit.

Wow he is huge! He will be an impresive sight on the battle field. You colour scheme is very cool, i think that the defiler may be looking lighter on here from the flash, so not showing its true colours. A light box may help with that. (But who am i to speak, i still have not made my light box lol.)

Fabtastic paint job, Blight grenades........ wonder if there will be Blight shells and Blight Launchers ??

Thank you for the compliments, i am working on a light box but i also think the wash will kill the brightness on the defiler, also what are blight launchers? i guess what i should be asking is where are they in guessing from Forgeworld?

Awesome score on that model. It's made by the same company I picked up my Daemon Prince from. Ultraforge if I remember correctly. They don't make that model anymore, I read somehting about a C&D from GW because it looked too much like a Great Daemon of Nurgle... meaning it looks *better*. Ha. Looking forward to seeing it done!

@Rayvon- had to re-read this honestly lol but thank you for the compliment.

So i played a 2k game last night against dark eldar, i was starting to sweat a little but we decided that transports would be kill points since that would basically even out the kill point ratio on the board, but i came on top 9-6 very bloody battle that i quite enjoyed. finally realised how fast "Eldar" Jet Bikes are lol. after the battle i went home and worked on the prince a bit more.

I put a wash on his wings (not shown yet) and i am waiting for them to dry to show them off.

QUESTION!: the inside of his mouth is the same color as his skin any ideas on how i should paint it?

So i am trying to update the thread with some pictures, i got another 7 Plague Marines done, i have a new Predetor tank build and the Daemon Prince is done! problem is that my computer seems to be having a problem with adding pictures at the moment so i am sorry to let you know i will not have them for a time, i am going on holiday to my parents so i will try and have more pictures added from their computer.

If i am unable to add pictures i will update all of them after the holiday, so Happy Holidays to all and see you at the next update!
