Ok, first off i dont play as IG so i apologise for my ignorance.....

I understand that the LB rule allows your LRBT to fire the Battle Cannon even if the tank moves more than 6", correct?

But do the rules for Ordnance still apply? If my opponent fires the Battle Cannon can he still fire off a lascannon from the same tank?

lumbering behemoth does not let them fire the battle cannon if they move over 6", but if they move up to 6" (combat speed). The rule allows them to fire the battle cannon in addition to any weapons they would normally be allowed to fire. So that would mean moving combat speed lets them fire 1 weapon and the battle cannon. If the vehicle remains stationary the rule would then let them fire all the weapons, including the battle cannon (other vehicles with ordnance would only be able to fire the ordnance or the other weapons if they remain still).

Hope that helps!

Gotcha. So at 6" they can fire (for example) the lascannon as normal, and the battelcannon as well.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Note that it states "It may always fire the main turret, ..." so this will include the turret gun of all leman russ variants, not just ordnance weapons.

yep, makes the Executioner with Plasma Sponsons always worth the cost, 4-5 plasmacannon shots every turn(4 when moving, 5 when stationary).

It also adds some usefulness to any Anti-infantry builds: Whatever main gun, Hull heavy Bolter(or Heavy Flamer if you intend to be near your enemy infantry and don't have to worry as much about scattering back, HB is best), and Pintle heavy Stubber: 6 36" direct fire shots + turret gun= at least 1 more dead enemy than the turret alone.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.
