my best unit would be

ork: my diversified nobs w/ painboy

why: they look awsome, wound shenanagins keep em up, they all ahve cybork bodies and eavy armor and fnp so they take quite a beating before anything goes away

generic space marines: th/ss termies

port em in after a tac squad with teleport homer drops in and you have somethign that can soak up alot of fire and sometimes live through it often negating most of your opponents turn and if they ignore them and you placed the drop pod right then they are in for a world of hurt

My reason is because they are my best painted models ive done.

3 armoured Sentinels, 1 with plas, 1 with kas and one with flame, sure they are more expensive than a vendetta, but they suit my fluff and have romped ass, they have a nice weapons mix so they can take care of each other, i nickname them the 3 musketeers

It would have to be a 5 man Incubi squad with a Klaivex. The Klaivex is the bodyguard from the old vect model with the blade by his side. I added the bearer from Dark Elf Black Guard and the rest are the new Incubi. They acutally make a nice unit on the field. (added parts to the banner guy to make him fit) I love them because they do awesome on the battlefield and those that are painted I like (not based yet because I want to find some good looking bases).

Reason- If I want I can give him a 2+ SV, a 4+ inv SV, feel no pain, 2 shield drones, 2 bodygaurds, and c I can give him and the body gaurds pretty much any weapon I want. Oh and they have the relentless special ability.

Kharn! Hes my favorite character because when he hits, he does damage. Maybe even some of his own guys which I find funny.

My best unit is my Broadsides.

three of them, one Forgeworld(my team leader(, One normal with the Railguns attached under his arms(used regular crisis suit arms and glued 4 missile pods on his shoulders (My old Team Leader prior to getting the FW one)) and one with railguns on his shoulders with a Shield Drone I converted from a Gun drone and a shield generator.

The reason is they are the squad I've done the most work into. Everyone other squad is just normal Tau (except my warfishes which (apart from normal Wargear) have the apoc tau tank commander bits))
