Subject: Best bet for a mobile / sneaky / alpha-strike-y type GK strategy?

I know Mordrak is not thought of highly, especially in a super competitive environment, but I wonder, can a decent list be made with him? At 1500? At 1750?
My idea would be to have a TDA psycannon Inquisitor come along with him and his Ghosts. That way the squad can get some psycannon shots in when they touch down with their no-scatter trick. The Insquisitor could also have Psychic Communion to help bring the reserves in extra early. Beyond that Interceptors seem like an obvious choice, by either Scouting them up, or hiding them behind LOS blocking terrain and shunting them up first turn. Dreadknights I am not too sure about. Sure they can get a teleporter too, but they are so damn expensive with one. As for troops, luckily both of them can deepstrike.
Anyone have any success with this kind of tactic with Grey Knights?

Surely someone out there has experience with a strategy like this?
I wonder if a cheaper idea for a dreadknight would be to have it deep strike on turn 2, sans teleporter. Sure, you wouldn't get that first turn threat, but you'd save 75 points, or 150 if you use two of these guys. But then again, it is not like their guns are impressive, they're more made for smacking something in the face, which would be harder to do with a regular 6 inch move....

While I haven't used Mordrack at 1.5K, I did use him at 2K once. The trick is to overload your opponent so that Mordrack's unit isn't the only threat to them on turn 1.
This was what I brought (battle report can be found here):
Mordrack
5x Ghost Knights
Librarian - Shrouding, The Summoning, Warp Rift, Teleport Homer
10x Strike Squads - 2x Psycannons, Psybolt Ammo
5x Strike Squads - 1x Psycannon
10x Interceptors - 2x Psycannons, Psybolt Ammo
10x Interceptors - 2x Psycannons, Psybolt Ammo
Dreadknight - Heavy Incinerator, Personal Teleporter
Dreadknight - Heavy Incinerator, Personal Teleporter
On turn 1, basically everything could be right in your opponent's face. Then next turn, if you need to, you can summon the strikers there as well. It's not really a balanced list, but it's fun as heck to play.

Cool, thanks man. How effective did you find the Dreadknights? Worth their, what 230-ish points?

Nah, 1 died on turn 1 and the other died on turn 2. However, they did take out the pathfinder unit and drew a lot of Tau AP1/2 fire that would have otherwise gone against the rest of my army.
But then, that was their goal...take out pathfinders and draw enemy fire. It they got lucky, maybe they could've taken out another squad as well. I didn't expect them to live long.

I just am not sold on those dreadknights yet, which is weird because I think the idea of them is cool. At 1500 I can't fit two full Interceptor squads and a dreadknight, and from what I can figure, it seems like a 10 man Interceptor Squad is a better use of points, even at 50 more points than a PT / HI kitted Dreadknight. Sure, I won't have the magic incinerator, but I'll have 8 stormbolters and 2 psycannons.....
Who knows....

I'm having good luck with a ghostwing at 1750pts.
Mordrak + 4 ghosts + Librarium w/ Homer, skulls, powers
2x 10-man GKT w/ 2 cannans, 2 hammers, halbards (for wound allecation)
1x 10-man GKIS w/ 2 cannans, 2 hammers
Functionally, you play this entire list in you opponents deployment zone by first dropping Mordrak into cover/out of LoS/next to an enemy unit you need to kill/tar-pit 1st turn, then start bringing in the troops on turn 2. Interceptors are there for objective grabbing and tank-hunting, while the GKT are there to buff Mordrak with added firepower and bodies.
For the Libby, I like Warp Rift (which makes up for the loss of psycannons when you take ghosts), shrouding (protects your GKT), and Sanctuary/Quicksilver (melee). Might is nice, but with Hammerhand stacking, there's a certain point when you just have enough strength more really makes no difference. I don't use summoning, its too randome for my tastes.

That list looks pretty good, and seems easily scalable down to 1500 - remove 5 termies from one squad and you are almost there.
I was leaning towards and Inquisitor for the second HQ, mostly because he is cheaper (119 for TDA, Psychic Communion, Psycannon and 3 skulls) and secondly for the ranged psycannon attack, but every keeps talking about the Librarian so maybe I should reconsider.

The list with 2 dreadknightd actually seems playable, it is a 1 trick pony but it is kinda cool.
