Got a question about using conversions here.

My IG army consists of many figures that I converted from the old game WarZone. I can't remember if those figures were/are made by Citidel. I have 2 six man squads of Storm Troopers, a 10 man squad of veterns, part of my PCS and a variety of "special" characters that I have converted to 40K.

Now, my question is, Can I use those converted figures in the upcoming ARD BOYZ tournament? I know the people at my local gaming store would allow me to use them.

If I can use them, then I can partake in the tournament. If not, Oh well.

Officially the answer is no. Its in the rules that they must be Citadel minis.

However, if the store owners/the guys running the tournament, and your opponents are cool with it, then you might be able to get away with it. BUT, be aware that 'Ard Boyz tournies usually draw people from all over the place, even at the preliminary level, and you will most likely be playing people you haven't met before, AND due to the rules, if they call you on it, the event organizer is obligated to remove you for the tourney, if they don't they could get in trouble with GW (assuming that the guy that calls you on it would bother reporting it). I wouldn't be surprised if you were called on it, since 'Ard Boyz caters pretty heavily to TFG's.

In any case, if you do manage to partake in the preliminary round, you most likely won't be able to take that army to the semi-finals.
