I saw it on the shelf and it looked interesting but I'd like to hear what Dakkites think of it.

Only about 1/3 the way through it so far, but I like what I am reading. I cant say I haven't been able to put it down (haven't read it in over a week) but I've been busy with other priorities and haven't had much of a chance to. The characters are interesting, it has a bit of an 'unlikely fellowship' feel to it (in that the group shouldn't function given the band of characters that have assembled together being rather unlikely allies it seems) but thus far it certainly seems interesting. The one downside is that the book seems to jump around a bit (chronologically speaking, its not back and forth, just that there seems to be 'gaps' in the story. I don't know if this is resolved later, but it has me scratching my head at times).

I haven't read it, but I've heard some people say that it's like the 40k version of Doctor Who.

I have read it...and I didn't like it.

It took me forever to finish...its even worse than Redemption Corps, which is pretty much the worst I can say of any book.

It jumps around in time, leaves plot-lines hanging, the motivations are IMO unbelievable, the characters are left unexplored and the writing is hamfisted.

My advise is to read something else.

It's sounding a bit like the old Ian Watson Inquisitor book Chaos Child (which also had time travel, the webway and the Black Library), would that be valid?
