Hi All
Whilst holidaying this week just gone in Limoges, I got on with some painting (like a geek!) when not visiting nice places etc!
Enjoy!

Hi and thanks!
No he's just a bog standard obliterator in black legion colours! I chose to paint the skin as I do all my chaos skin- a sickly light colour! I don't really like the sun burnt look that GW uses on them!
Cheers

Nice work mate.
I cant really tell you where to improve without better pics, though I do recognise the power sword as something similar to what I saw on and APJ youtube vid.
Did you use the airbrush masking technique on it?

Hi there! Where would we be without Lester B and his vids! Yep same method and since watching him use airbrushes, I went out and bought one and use it religiously! Sorry about pics!

That power sword looks especially nice in the sunlight. Great job all around. You've got a nice grasp of painting techniques, I especially love the cloak on the first model.

Cheers! Logan came out well (except for one eye although the French sun doesn't do any favours to both eyes!!) and the sword worked in the end - although it took a completely new respray when the tamiya tape took 1/2 the finished paint off on both sides!! Grrr!!

If you're still in Limoges, go see the Games Workshop store there.
The manager is an awesome guy, really friendly and ready to talk with anyone as long as it's hobby related.
Plus, in the miniatures cabinet there are a few Golden Daemon winning models that are simply too gorgeous not to look at.

Bugger!! Wish I saw those models!! Now back in good 'ol Blighty, but I did try to find the GW store there! One thing I did manage to find was the most miniscule incredibly fine detail brush I have ever seen (and snapped it up immediately!!!)

And where was that if I may ask? I might get one myself the next time I drop by Limoges.

Yeah no worries! If you don't mind just waiting for a day or two I will get the rest of my family (still in Limoges) to get me the name of the store (or rue at least!) The name if the brush is 3/0 Raphael 8400 Martre Kolinsky France. I will try to remember myself but I will get you the address!

Hi, I will post one asap but the flash on my Nikon doesn't work unfortunately so I hope it won't be too fuzzy. I might have to wait till tomorrow daytime!
Cheers
