I saw a couple questions about FT here in the last week so I thought I'd post how I do mine.
First I Primed with 50/50 Grey Gesso and Future floor polish, I did a few models at once so I forgot I had the head pushed off to the side.

First step is really a prep, if you intend on airbrushing GW paints often transfer them into dropper bottles.

So the basecoat is dark flesh, which is more or less GWs OOP terracotta.

I apply Red Gore from above covering most surfaces.

Black parts are sprayed separately, I prefer Model Color Black over chaos black, its cheaper comes in dropper bottles and its DEAD flat.

I wash the red parts with a Dark umber wash using Les Bursley's wash recipe and 60 drops of Dark Umber

I skipped a bunch of steps here because its all personal preference how you color weapons and accessories.

at this point details have been highlighted and washed its pretty much done.

and then DISASTER!
I went to dull coat it for a picture...I grabbed my can of Armory Matte Clear which I use for...projects I dont intend on fielding in the longterm. It frosted like a mutha, this pic is after future rescue is applied but the color is now fundamentally flawed, below is a stand in using the same method.

I hope this is helpful, or at least gives someone some ideas on how to start Flesh Tearers.

The end result does look good. You could add some more detail, highlighting around the knees for example. Also you might want to put some contrast on the wings to make them stand out rather than looking flat.

There is no overkill. Only open fire and reload

I was looking at the final product and a thought occurred to me that the red gore may be an unnecessary step based on the final product. I was also asked if similar results can be had with a brush, you decide but I think yes.

This is brush painted dark flesh

Airbrush painted Dark Flesh

and side by side

and another side by side after applying red gore. Here the difference between airbrushing and hand painting is apparent. If you were to chose not to wash at this point the airbrushed model would be significantly brighter.

here they are washed, now the difference is negligible

This is a comparison shot of one of the previous models next to one that was only based in dark flesh and washed. The one with red gore is brighter, but the difference is minimal.

I also wanted to test the edge highlights based on a previous post, I had been using blood red which to my eye was too much and to another not recognizable. So I started looking for a better answer. The one on the left on the left half is blood red, right side vomit brown (never expected it too look right) the one on the right is highlighted with a 50/50 mix of VMC flat red and dark flesh (which is basically red gore...)

As a side note I noticed several things unrelated to actual flesh tearers.
AoBR models have a super gangster lean
my old LoD models indicate that once upon a time GWs models were "actual" 25mm models, I guess its been awhile since I handled my older models.
As far as base coating goes airbrushes aren't better, just faster. I was already aware but it was nice to see first hand.
