About a month ago, I traded jbarket one of my chimeras and 3 sprues worth of chimera bits for one Leman russ. He lied about it being an exterminator and it was faked by putting green stuff with two bolters on the front. It looked like a 5 yr old did it. Also parts were broken. He said that he would compensate by sending me a basilisk for the misunderstanding. Its been a month now and no basilisk.

After several attempts to contact him he replied that he sent it with his wife, if he even has one, and she should be shipping it out and has a tracking number. Well that was obviously a lie as its been weeks and nothing has come. I have tried messaging him several times since then and have not recieved compensation from him. DO NOT MAKE ANY TRANSACTIONS WITH THIS TRADER. If you contact him and he replies, emphasize that he must complete this transaction and make things right.

I strongly recomend you get pics and discuss the condition of products before trading. That said however he was still in the wrong if it wasn't the exact model described.

I too had made a trade with him at the start of the month. Sent him several Ork bikers both old and new model. In return I was supposed to recieve a behemoth and unit of widowmakers. I still have yet to recieve my models and have yet to hear anything from him.

In fairness...I do exactly this. My knee doesn't work quite right, so I occasionally send my wife out to mail orders off for me. Plus her hand writing is a lot nicer than mine, the address' always look like a five year old did it when I send out stuff.

Just a little update to this. I am still waiting for any word from this guy.

Same here, I think hes purposely avoiding the messages. He may read them but disregards him altogether

AMAZING!!!! After posting this, it got shipped out! Was sent out the 24th about the time the post started, and guess what.... it arrived today! Treak this trader as sketchy at best.

Package finally arrived. Items were as described. But never heard from this guy. well at least they did finally arrive. So I guess that makes this a closed issue now.

Sorry about this for both of you. I discovered that the packages had gone unsent, but was a bit too ashamed to get on here and deal with the aftermath and admit it.

I hope you're both happy with our trades now, long time it took aside.

3 weeks ago I gave jbarket money via paypal for a set of codex. He confirmed he received money and stated that he would ship right away.

3 weeks have passed and still no codex. He claimed he had the transaction number but it was lost in the holiday mess. When I asked for the number for the second time he said that his wife was supposed to ship the books but that they went out on Friday Nov 18. (similar story to a previous transaction)
It has been over a week with no response to several PM's asking for an update and for the tracking number.

I hope to hear from him by the weeks end but needless to say I get the feeling I was ripped off. I would avoid this trader at all costs as much of what he tells you could be lies.

I would also like to apologize if there is a good reason for not responding. I hope this thread can help others before they make a deal with him, I only wish I did my homework on this trader but truth be told after about 6-7 successful deals on dakka I felt this community was very honest. jbarket is not part of this community as far as I can tell.

If you paid via paypal go ahead and file a claim then escalate it. Whatever you do, do not close the claim until you have a refund or the goods. Once you close one it can't be reopened.

i too bought a GK codex from this guy - paid nov 3rd, and 45 days later i finally got my paypal refund. sketch.

Damn I should have done my homework. I just reported the claim today on paypal so hopefully I get the refund like you did. How does the refund work for paypal?

Needless to say everyone DO NOT deal with this guy....damn I really was hoping for these codex

you open a claim, say that you never received the item, that you've been told multiple times it was coming but hasn't in XX days, and you can link them to this thread.

It took about a month but the codex arrived. Case closed regarding seller. Although it was delayed being sent the package was sent in a decent time. Postage took 25 days which is out of his control. Paypal claim also closed
