I know I'm going to catch a lot of flack about using only 1 land raider but this list has been working out for me. Granted I only play against 1 other person to play with (Are town doesn't have a local store to play at) This list does alot better againts him than my double land raider list because the drop pods provide just anough of a destraction for the land raider to get to its taget. The main advantages of my hybrid list against him I found out is the drop pods tend to cramp him in he has very little manuvering room. Of course my drop pods always die but they ussaly only get a wrecked result wich means he still has to manuver around them. All the while my land raider comes up unloads its cargo and then if it survives becomes a gunboat. C and C welcome but please do not tell me to get a land raider redeemer instead because frankly I don't like them and for the fluff of my army crusaders are just as fluffy (hurricane bolters are part of the holy trinity) Fire melta and bolter. Yeah I know I stole that from the sisters but my army is suppose to have a close relationship with them.

I was thinking I would like to add anougher landspeeder or 2 but I don't want to get rid of the lbrarian. I might downgrade my predators to dakka preds for the points but that cuts down on my long range anti-tank so I don't know maybe I'll just leave it as is.

Two full tacticalsquads are usually enough (but not a lot) at 2k so you could drop one of the squads

I like the list. My only change might be to recommend losing the AC/HB pred and the ea on your raider, and instead grab a vindicator (you'd have precisely 2000 points then, too). Aside from that, pretty cool, and a nice, vulkan list.

Sorry, Mea culpa. You'd also have to lose the ML on that Sniper squad to grab the vindicator. So now I'm not so sure on that.

Anyway, I like the list, I'd play with it.
