Materials and tools you will need:

-electric drill with 5/64" drill bit
-GW green stuff
-cup of water
-hobby knife
-hobby file
-paper clip
-drone top
-drone flight base
-Crisis Suit Shield Generators
-super glue
-clippers

Yes I know the electric drill in the picture is a bit excessive. You can use a smaller one or whatever you have available so long as it can drill.

Use the clipper to snip off the bottom peg of the Shield Generator. File it flat and put a small indent in the middle for the drill bit.

Drill a hole all the way through.

Use the hobby knife to cut a piece of green stuff. Mix the blue and yellow strip with water until it becomes green.

Snip a small piece of paper clip just enough for a couple of millimeters sticking out on top.

Fill the hole with green stuff and sandwich the paper clip inside the drone hole and shield generator hole.

After the green stuff dries pull the two pieces apart. Add super glue in between and squeeze them back together.

Snip off just enough of the flight peg for it to fit inside the shield generator hole. You may need to file the shield generator hole to accommodate the flight base peg.

Voila! You now have a converted shield drone.

Nice tutorial, do you really think the paperclip is necessary though?

If you do a good job sanding the plastic surface and use really good super glue, then pinning isn't necessary. I do a poor job transporting my models, so reinforcing the two pieces helps.
