What are you asking? You apparently have 2500 points of Nids, you should know how a codex works. You buy the Trygon Prime upgrade out of the army list. Your Trygon looks like it would be fine for the purpose. I have no idea why you posted this in a forum strictly for painted and completed minis if you were going to post a primed photo and a rules question.

Well it's certainly a trygon primed.

Why not? As far as I know, there is no modeling difference between the Trygon and the Trygon Prime. It's just an option purchased.

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?

The only things you officially have to model are weapons. An upgrade like prime or even a biomorph SHOULD be modeled, but if you just say "the toxin sacs are internal" nobody really has a basis to say anything.

If you run a prime with non primes, it's SMART to keep them looking a little different though, just to keep people from being confused, but at the end of the day, it's your army and you get to say what "prime" looks like.

If you're planning to run more than one Trygon & this one is prime, glue a spike to it's head kinda like a triceratops nose horn or paint it differently.

Ah, ok. Sorry 'bout that, but now I know (@ OP: and so do you!)
I've always modeled things differently if they were actually different (such as trygon vs. prime), but the biomorphs were something I never really touched base on much (yet...)
