It's so refreshing to see a list that includes Seraphim. You're running 16 melta shots and 8 templates for 2000 points - looks pretty solid to me. 67 bodies and 9 hulls. You'll have to play clever to get your Seraphim into position without getting them fragged en route, remembering they'll be your enemy's most tempting target for anything that can't beat AV11 on your first couple of turns. Apart from that, looks like an imaginative build, particularly given you're bypassing the Battle Conclave - let us know how it performs!

Having actually only seen a seraphim over 6 years ago, can they hide behind a rhino? Would it blos to them? I know they've got a little lift. If they can hide behind it, this army is going to move like a brick and the flyers will hop over it at some point. That should keep them safe'ish.

You want Celestine hrm? Funny that, I was actually theorycrafting lists for how to use her effectively. The problem is if she goes it alone, she's a nuisance...and that's that. So you want to support her, and you also don't want to compromise your ability to field more models in turn.
Celestine: 115
Jacobus: 90
-5 Crusaders: 75
-Rhino: 35
Repentia: 90
Repentia: 90
Battle Sister Squad, MM, Flamer, Combiflamer Sister: 150
-Rhino: 35
Battle Sister Squad, MM, Flamer, Combiflamer Sister: 150
-Rhino: 35
Battle Sister Squad, MM, Flamer, Combiflamer Sister: 150
-Rhino: 35
Battle Sister Squad, MM, Flamer, Combiflamer Sister: 150
-Rhino: 35
Dominion Squad, 2 Flamers: 80
-Multimelta Immolator: 80
Dominion Squad, 2 Flamers: 80
-Multimelta Immolator: 80
Seraphim Squad, extra Seraphim model, Hand Flamer Sister, Meltabombs: 120
Retributors w/ 4 Heavy Bolters: 85
-Rhino: 35
Retributors w/ 4 Heavy Bolters: 85
-Rhino: 35
Retributors w/ 4 Heavy Bolters: 85
Naturally, you will want to scout your Multimeltalators up forward for turn 1 sniping of enemy vehicles, as well as to pop smoke for the rest of your Rhinos to advance into position. For most intents and purposes, you're basically bunkering up and daring your opponent to come close to you.
The Repentia jack the Retributor Rhinos incidentally, though make sure TLOS is blocked off to them beforehand. Run them in support of the Wonder-Crusaders (who in turn are actually resilient to a lot of stuff due to 3++/FNP, so you MSU multicharge that the majority of attacks go to *them*), and beat down on stuff. Your only real bane are superhappy deathstars of doom, though those you can usually deal with by killing the support elements first before finishing off everything else in turn.

@ Magic Juggler
I both like and dislike your list. I think, for my meta, it's far too concentrated on anti-horde. Most of my games involve so many steel boxes you generally cant see the board. Though I do see some wisdom in there. . .When I made this list, I did so in about 10 minutes, while reading the dex. Essentially, just picking out what I saw as the most useful units and spamming them. My point is that I missed the fact that Dominions have Scouts. . .so thank you for pointing that out. I've changed my list accordingly. Automatically Appended Next Post: I'm up too 11 vehicles! My DE at 2k only features 12. And they have less bodies. This is a surprising amount of beef, even if its only T3 and not a Grey Hunter, this is a lot of beef.

Hey Smasha. Everything I did was based off running dual-purpose units, and taking control of the center of the map. To a certain degree, having Rending Heavy Bolters will do what Exorcists cannot, which is kill backfield support infantry. Things like Long Fangs, etc. That, or use them on Rhinos or light armor like Typhoons/etc. The issue with Exorcists is unless you are keeping some vehicles hanging back, cover isn't a given for them, and a single Shake robs you of considerable support in turn. Rets require close quarters to take out, and you're Sisters.
To be honest, I don't consider dual melta rhinos the way to go for the core sisters especially with rerolling 1s to hit. You have a LOT of bodies and a mix of standoff AT and CQB antiinfantry. Lots of dual-threat units.
I knew you wanted Celestine, so

I might have to give that a brandish, though I'm not sure what I think about the crusader unit; you're charging with them, keeping Uriah out of range, then charging the repentia in on the next turn?
How's Ace taking all this on suptg?

I personally don't care for dual purpose units. Giving them a specific roll makes sure they're not wasting points. I had considered devs and the like to be a small issue. But, not terribly so, I can always focus all exorcists on one unit at a time, averaging ~10 missiles a turn should do all right. Again, you've definitely given me something more to consider.

Spiku: Maybe though in practice, it's more "use Fleet, charge with Crusaders, then charge Repentia in to ensure most attacks go to the Crusaders. MSU multitackling can help units dismantle stuff rather handily. Again, it depends on play, your opponent's ability to maneuver, your ability to tankshock units to prime them for assaults, etc...in short, it can be done. Ace's alright last I checked: She's starting a campaign.
Smasha: To a point you're right. That said...MM Immolators alongside Dominions is more synergestic than one or the other, especially since you can use the doms to burninate infantry bunched up beforehand, either by the Immolator tankshocking them into EZ-bake formation, or the Multimelta popping the transport and the Dominions frying the (bunched up) survivors. Think of it as a one-two combo of evilness. (Remember twinlinking means Dominions reroll to wound with flamers. Can you say "Panfried Heretic?"
Also, duality among transport-infantry pairs diffuses the threat level in your army and muddies your opponent's target priority. An infantry-heavy army could ignore Multimelta Dominions carrying Melta sisters, for example, a flamerlator one with Flamer sisters by mech armies in turn. A MMlator with Flamer sistera? Not so easy to ignore...

So you're relying on making sure the crusaders cover as much of the base to base as possible so only a few of the enemy models can allocate hits to repentia? Fair enough.
What I wouldn't give for non IC attachable priests that could take Storm Shields~ Actually with that said, I'd much rather dominions and seraphim swapped rules so inferno seraphim would get a boost too. I'd be all for twin inferno seraphim with flamer + MM doms.
I take given the nature of doms dropping AV up field, that double/triple seraphim would be considered non-viable?

Repentia are almost worthless, small suicide squad that might not even do enough damage to make up your points. Besides that, none of these lists are really wrong, repentia however are, maybe I'm wrong able a 5 man squad, as it has the potential to kill a land raider, but not being able to control the direction can lead the squad into doing nothing, and awarding a free KP.
I believe a list needs at least 2 exorcists to not be outranged by superior shooty armies. Gives the tank popping needed to get squads out of transports for the sister squads to flame, having to get too close, or relying on all dominion squads to come in and be your only source of anti tank is a gamble, it's best to have back up with the exorcists. Even if an exorcist is shaken, you can pop smoke and get a 4+ cover to ensure it can shoot next turn. It's got a 6+ that you can also get lucky from.

Triple Seraphim are most definitely viable, esp with Celestine, 4 or 5 sisters rhinos with melta/flamer and 3 exorcists. Those 4x hand flamers are ridiculousness with that reroll to wound. You're looking at flaming a whole squad 4 times with the hand flamers and most likely getting around 30-40 wounds with the bolt pistol + flame template. That's a lot for a 10 man squad to have to make checks on, and forget it if they've got a low save.

In fairness, he's got 3 foot of 48 heavy bolter shots that can be rending.
All of his repentia are in rhinos stolen from Retributor squads, so he does have a level of control over them, as they wont range until the rhinos are popped, and people will be tergetting the MM immos. On top of that, he doesn't fear rhinos runing up as he has 4x MM sister squads
and indeed, I've been a heavy advocate of the re-rollable wound double templates even though they are S3. I just wish that instead of re-rolling wounds we had twin-linked, because it would be the same, except making the 4 melta shots fearsome too

So, first game is a win, with the list I posted above. All in all, it went pretty well. It was a total blood bath, but I tabled my opponent in the 7th, 2-0 for objectives. There was good and bad rolling on both sides. The game was fair and fun. The list needs some tweaking. The Saint did her job. She died 3 times, but kept pulling his units back away from the main host because of pile in moves. Jacob was meh. Wasn't really required. His unit did little, they set some people on fire, and helped push them into morale check that saw them trapped and then destroyed. So, all in all, pretty good. I'm going to post a bat rep soon. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also, my next list is up top.

Kreedos. It's more or less as Spiku said. Present enough targets and the Repentia rhinos (model them up as S&M cages on treads if you must :3) will be a lower priority. Additionally, everything or most everything should have turn 1 cover if only for popping smoke while Scouting, and using the Dominion Immolators to cover for your other vehicles.
Incidentally, you could easily disembark the sisters on turn 1 after they exit the Rhino, then have them run to spread against blasts. Prevents stuns affecting your Multimeltas, and lets you run the Rhinos as mobile blockers. The Wonder-Crusaders and Repentia are mostly there for area denial in turn (or to sweep any Flamer survivors). As you advance up, you run a /\ formation, Jake's Rhino to the front, Repentia on the flanks, Celestine's harem sandwiched between. Jake can in turn smoke/tilt to cover the Repentia. The Seraphim can assault 12+6", Jake's Crusaders 2+6+6", the Repentia 2+6+D6+6". The advantage to multiple small teams is you can control how much force you throw into any given situation, or force the opponent's models to attack the least optimal targets. (Powerfist to Crusader, etc). To a lesser extent, any regular sister unit can provide bodies and bolter fire to pull the teeth of opposing units.
Thus I would consider the bondage chainsaw ladies usable with this update, even with Rage. With Rhinos and use of your own models to control their move routes, you can at least keep them on a tight leash. :3

I can't tell you how strange it's going to be, actually using repentia outside of Apoc. Though now I'm glad I got a stormlord~ It was originally for the apoc rule relentless MM rets, but now I can stuff a load of repentia in the non fire point slots~
All I have to do now is find a mini that I can use for crusaders =X I've already got some dark angel stormshields to use >=3

A combi-melta would be redundant unless he exited his metal box as you can only fire two weapons out the top hatch anyway.
I honestly prefer the Multimelta options if only for use as short-range rifles. Then again, the Celestian Command does them best (Relentless MMs are fun).
