First, I have made a few purchases from Chapterhouse and expect that I will continue to be a customer of theirs.
A complete review is on my blog http://warfrog.blogspot.com/
I love the concept of this kit for my Necromunda Arbites.
This is a kit that will require extensive modification to make it fit together and is not for a novice. You will need a dremel, razor saw, and files for this kit and you better have patience and experience with resin kits.
in this photo you can see the areas colored in with a sharpie that I had to remove resin from along with the cutoff bits. Once these were removed the sides will line up correctly and the gaps / voids can be filled.
Stay tuned for the next update.

Chapterhouse commented on my blog page so I figured I would also update here as well. First of I love the kit and would still buy it even after having assembled one.
I aligned the resin side panels so that the existing angle on the roof and the rear ramp area would be in alignment.
As seen in these 2 pics

Finished product (well primed at least)
More details on my blog, but I love this kit. Well worth working through the fiddly bits and PITA parts in the beginning.

theunicorn asked me to post a little background info on the model due to some of his difficulty with alignment.
The kit was designed with the older chimera sprues in mind, so when GW made the change to the new sprues there were some issues with assembling it. The angles of some of the Chimera hulls pieces are very subtly different. This has to do with the draft angles GW uses... draft angles are the slight angle applied to a model so that its easier to remove the plastic sprue from its stainless steel injection mold. The old chimera kit of the 90s was made with an older technology and so some the angles were more extreme while the newer kit could get away with shallower draft angles.
This reality compounded with some slight inaccuracies in the 3D printied parts conversion into a master resulted in the 1st generation models not fitting with the new kits. Nick over at CHS, told me that after the first run, he had the masters corrected... so from what I know the second gen castings should work with the modern Chimera.
I appologize that your kit had those issues, I have a pile of my own. For fixing those 1st gen kits... I'd reccommend taking a belt grinder to the inside surface of the CHS hull sections and smooting flat that interfacing surface and then just gluing some plasticard strips for alignment. This way you can just assemble the chimeras hull and then mount the conversion panels and wheels on.
Something less brute force, you can also take a dremal or more painfully an exacto knife and chop away... Widen slit that is clearance for the internal support pannel of the chimera hull... and chop the alignment angle off at the front inside edge of that alignment surface. You'd also need to add a little clearance for the floor panel, which got thicker, and a little clearance at the rear for the rear door.
I hope this helps.
P.S. I built this for Elysian and Arbite players alike so I'm glad there is another Arbite player getting good use of them.

Thanks for the input aka_mythos, and thanks for the kit. I have wanted to make one of these ever since I saw the first one in a Necromunda article. My gaming buddies love the kit too and a few of them have either bought one or are prepping to get a few.

In retrospect its funny... Nick at CHS was originally resistent to my idea... but I was persistent and eventually he went for it. I'm pretty sure its more than paid for itself. Thanks for buying the kit, I'm just glad people are enjoying them.

Thanks for the explanation - wondered why the first one I built was a pain. At least the issues are now sorted for future purchasers.
