Here is my first wave serpent, I bought it a month ago and now I have finally finished painting it at my LGS. This is my skill level after 2 months of learning and painting on my weekends. Please, any constructive criticism will be taken aboard.

Looking great, getting white so shiny white on such a big area ain't easy... you succeeded though! Great job, keep up the good work!

The only critisism I can give is give blacklining ago over the whole thing not just the white, it will make a big difference.

Everything has blacklining between the panels, just contrasts well with the white.

I dislike Smurfs.

Really good for a first effort. The only thing I would say is to thin your paint a bit. In your photo's you can see some of the brush marks on the larger areas, although I have a feeling that you are aware of this- I think you could develop some good skill!

Extremely well done for just getting into painting. Paintwork looks very clean details are crisp. Great work.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Considering those 2 months, I dare say: Congratulations are in order.

You got basic techniques down and you follow them through to the end. You thin your paints, yadda yadda, apply as many coats as necessary to get an even colourspread, and you do edge-highlighting, although it's one step.

What you did is above what I see on most tournaments, it's also above what most people accomplish even after being in the game for years.

There's people who can't be arsed to paint, and those who suck it up, work hard and do a good job.

Obviously, you fall into the latter category

I don't want to be human! I want to see gamma rays! I want to hear X-rays! And I want to - I want to smell dark matter! Do you see the absurdity of what I am? I can't even express these things properly because I have to conceptualize complex ideas in this stupid limiting spoken language! But I know I want to reach out with something other than these prehensile paws! And feel the wind of a supernova flowing over me! And I can know much more! I can experience so much more. But I'm trapped in this absurd body!

If you can paint white like that after only 2 months of gaming/painting I am eager to see what you're painting in a year.

Glory is fleeting, but obscurity lasts forever.

Considering also your duty as a warrior you should not waver. Because there is nothing more auspicious for a warrior than a righteous war.

Very nice work. As others have said, it's very good for only two months. You obviously have some talent. Keep it up.

I like your work even though I have never seen painted Eldar. Only Orks and SM (I have only been playing for 2 weeks). However, regarding you signature, what is stopping numerous people viewing your post and adding Generation 11? There could be hundreds of the same generation.

The model looks great. Not much criticism to offer, it is a wave serpent you should be proud to game with. Real nice work!
