I was wanting to make a Knights Panther army that is suppose to represent them in the Great Crusades and I was wondering, does the Knight Panther have an Infantry army like the Reikguard.

Also any suggestions on what I should take for a Great Crusade army? I was thinking Warrior Priests, Captains, and Grand Masters for my Lords/Heroes and then the bulk of my army would be Knights and Inner Circle Knights with a few ranged units

I don't know much about Empire, but it sounds like you've basically got it.

Hey Murray, I think it absolutely makes sense for a cav heavy force to have some, probably even substantial, infantry support. And for a viable 8th ed. WFB army it may even be a requirement.

I ended up going in a different direction, but I initially had a similar plan for my Empire army. Was going to be a kind of "expeditionary force" of units from all over the Empire, but funded and led by the order of the Knights Griffin.

Let us know how it goes if you follow through on this. Would be really cool to see how you tie it together.

Welcome, to another defender of the Empire!

Your Empire list seems about right. Fluff wise it would make sense for a retinue of non-knights to be on the crusades with the knights. So really I think any non-gun powder units would fit nicely. I think it would look pretty cool if everyone was painted in a Panther scheme. And I guess to state the obvious-have you also considered Bret?

I did consider Bretonnia, but I like having access to all the lores of magic and warrior priests.
