So my regular gaming group have been playing through a Border Princes campaign for a while now, and while it's usually someone else doing the battle reporting, I actually reported on my most recent and slightly abortive fight. As a note, the Orc and Goblin player started on the campaign before the new army book was released, and has opted to stick with the old book for the duration of the campaign.

I shall now shamelessly plug my blog, which I even update occasionally!

Thanks, glad you liked it

The Steam Tank is one of the better things Empire have access to, and it definately inspires alot of fear. You can generaly rely on it to not give up it's victory points, with T10, W10 and a 1+ save it's very difficult to get rid of, barring one or two very specific spells (Purple Sun and Pit of Shades particularly come to mind). The biggest thing to watch out for is smart opponents will tend to just feed it a reasonably cheap unit with plenty of ranks, and unless you can get some support in to help it out, the tank will just spend the rest of the game gradually grinding them down, while they remain steadfast. It's an awesome model though!
