I'm thinking about a "fun" tourney for our min-maxers in the area. 2000 point Death Star tourney. You MUST have a "death star" unit and two supporting units of some sort. The supporting units don't have to be core. Rare choices are excluded altogether. Spells that can eliminate or cripple a death star unit with a single successful cast like that Purple Sun or whatever it's called are also excluded.
So, are there any races that are so gimped that they can't make useable death stars? Do I need to consider other restrictions to make this work? Has anyone else tried something along these lines?

Not really. at low points you will see massive goblin/slave blocks that no one can deal with and at high points you will get Chosen Stars and blocks of T8 regenerating Saurus.
