I contacted crazy beanz on September 4, 2011 offering to buy one of his Chaos Defilers and asked if I could pay on Wednesday the 7th. I missed that date but sent a Paypal payment on the 8th.

crazy beanz contacted me on the 8th saying he would ship on the 9th.

On the 16th I contacted crazy beanz inquiring on the status of the item and he responded that day saying the item had shipped *that* day.

Giving him the benefit of the doubt I waited four shipping days for my item to arrive (more than enough time for Priority Mail and most 1st class mail to arrive). On Wednesday the 21st I contacted crazy beanz asking for a tracking number for the Defiler and he has not responded.

With one confirmed false shipping date and no proof of shipment I have to assume that crazy beanz has still not sent the Defiler out me. Where he was previously extremely punctual with responding to PMs he is now strangely silent, so today the 22nd of September I filed a claim with Paypal to retrieve my funds.

I urge anyone working out a trade or sale with crazy beanz to tread lightly. This purchase is extremely disappointing given crazy beanz 7 positive transactions on Dakka.

If anyone knows crazy beanz personally and could direct him to this thread it would be appreciated.

I bought his 2 NiB Defilers last week and he told me he shipped them last friday.(september 16th)
I'm in Canada so it could take a bit longer.

Unless he had 3, I doubt he would have send you one if he sold them both to me 1 week later.

I'll post again in this thread when I receive(or if I don't) the Defilers.

I have ordered from beanz before and received. I fill out as detailed a report as i can in the rep traders thread. Might take some hunting to find though.

Just to help clarify, we had two extra that was the post. Both guys ordered so we sold them the three we had in stock. The two that we listed and the one in stock at the store.

Would be better if you clarified why the hell it took you so long to post it and why the buyer has not received it yet.

Maybe he sent the OP a pm? Just cause he doesn't tell everyone like you, doesn't mean he hasn't clarified.

Sure, it would be nice to know what happened, but everyone's privacy is their own.

Mod Note: Folks, please keep cool headed in Transaction Reports. These things usually involve a lot of tension to begin with. There's no need to really incite more of it.

this is a transaction report. A complainant has stepped forward, two in fact, advising of a risky trader, and now the respondent needs to make a defense to that public complaint. Unless the mods delete this thread, its going to remain here tarnishing beanz's rep. So, either the complainants need to "close" this thread after resolution, or beanz should make a statement here.

I've had previous trades with Beanz as well, so I too would like to know what's going on for consideration of further trades.

It wasn't that complicated. I thought I mailed the item that he bought, I didn't. It was another item that one of the great dakkaites bought from the listing. When I realized the mistake I mailed the item to the person. Not really that big of a deal. Darktraveler is the customer in the transaction so that if his expectation wasn't met then he has every right to complain. All I can do is apologize, make sure that he has the product he ordered. Thanks to GBDarkangel for his articulate input, taubeast for yours and to Jin for making dakka where I enjoy posting instead of supporting ebay.

Here is an update. As of today there is still no Defiler in my possession. crazy beanz has been responsive to PMs but not at all helpful. I am going to consider this a lost cause and seek my money back from Paypal.

I am not sure what the next step is for this Transaction Report, but if a MOD would like to lock this thread that is fine with me.

This way, I could post something when I receive my Defilers.

I didn't receive them yet, he told me they were shipped on september 16th but I live in Canada so they could be stuck at customs.

I spent about a week-half waiting for just a codex to clear customs, so you might indeed be a bit.

Final update:

I received a refund from Paypal/crazy beanz. So my part in this transaction is finished.

Yeah I sent an Ork army to Canada and it took a real long time to get to it's destination. (like 2 or so weeks)

A post office receipt could have kept everything calm and inline.

Whenever I ship internationally using USPS, I always snap a shot of the receipt and customs form for the recipient. It's honestly very good practice, and literally takes a minute.

Also, all the Canadian packages I have sent come with a customs number that works as a tracking number until it hits the border. Once it does that, add 2 weeks.

pretre dont tell me that AFTER you've sent me a package. i looked in the mailbox today, a day after you sent it, hoping for some luck. now im upset :(
