So Here is my first somewhat substantial attempt at conversion. I have done little things here and there. You probably already know but I used the dreadnought from AoBR and just added the claw arm, saw blade, mask, khorne icon, and of course a ton of skulls - gotta love conversions for Chaos I also plan on putting some dead space marines on the base but trying to figure out what to do. Thanks for looking and appreciate any C&C!

I like it EXCEPT that the skull looks like it was literally glued onto the sarcophagus. so maybe do some green stuff work so it looks like the skull grew out of something or (much more logically) cut the sarcophogus so its the skull of something inside peaking out.
you might even be able to get away with the skull being on the plate as opposed to the horns lifting it off as the worse picture is the 2nd one.
Overall it looks great and a pretty good paintjob at that

You love it you slags!

I like it. I think I agree that you could have placed the skull onto the model a bit more creatively, but it's a good job on the whole. You did a good job with the painting.

I agree now that I look at it the head seems a bit odd... What would you recommend? just cut out a portion of the top of the sarcophogus so it looks more natural? Thanks for the advice I appreciate it!

Agreeing with the guys above, all good but the skull looks a little odd, though I'm can't really think how to change it. I thought maybe have the thing nailed on and/or tied on with barbed wire might look good.

I have adjusted the head a bit and I think it looks a ton better already! I just placed the head there I am not sure if I will cut out some of the model to have it fit better or just use green stuff but I will do one or the other. Again thanks guys I really appreciate the suggestions.

Is that skull green? It reminds me of Skeletor! Definately good use of the AoBR Dread.

I am currently providing my services as a commission painter. Please PM me for a quote.

@AcrylicAlchemist - not the whole thing I just outlined the eye and mouth holes with goblin green to try and get a glowing effect.

The model's nice overall but i have to agree with the skull head, seems a bit out of place. Would it work if you place it on top like sort of a defiler design?

Scary-looking thing. I like the red you've used - looks aged and dried blood-y.

It should be atop a pile of dead loyalist Marines ...
