Okay Ive been throwing around the idea of imperial guard with my brother I decided to go and start it. And also let Dakka know where it is going. Ebay will be my friend so with that said this project is on a budget and may use some of old crows models as a alt. for the very high priced GW models. Normal guardsmen will be from the 2 part 5 man sets that are about $6. Using Ebay for sprues and other needed attachments.


Red Means I dont even have model yet.

Only the Armor is finished. Some dry brushing has been done models are not 100% done. Also get to see my homemade baneblade( $4.23 spent on materials on it so far )

Thanks everyone Working on the Red Scorpions for a tourney Im heading into. The guard armour came out better than I thought. At first I ended up with a nasty red kinda color and didnt want that. So I came up with that theme. I can't want to get my hands on some of the old crows minis for the valk's im gonna work on(pic provided)

This will take some time to do. This is a weekend project. Marines are during weekday time that I can paint. Plus working on a Dark Eldar force. TO MANY PROJECT'S SO LITTLE TIME AND MONEY!!!!!


But more will hopefully be done soon. Hoping to get some heavy weapons teams or some commisars this weekend or next weekend so something other than infantry guardsmen.

Looking good, like the colour scheme, the only thing i could say to improve it would be to try and make the yellow lines slightly more straight, buts thats only a small little quibble, keep up the work mate, guard armies are hard to do without motivation, good luck
