I'm Sir Motor,INFINITY player in Japan.
I've already posted my Haqqislam Army before.
Now I've start "Caledonian Highlander Army" from INFINITY.

I've already posted this in INFINITY forum. But not many people watching that forum. So I post here!

I've only play INFINITY once. But I have 2 armies now. Its time to introduction games!! :p

Anyway,have a look at my Caledonians!


Caledonian Highlander Army Starter set
I've not painted SAS. I will,but not now.
I really like history of Scotland. I like Scotch. I like Tartans(I have trollblood army in Hordes) . That's why I start this army.





3rd Highlanders Grey Rifles
Elite Highlander. In 22nd century,Angry scots wield claymore to fight against High-tech weapons. I like it!
I've painted Scotland flag and Ariadna icon on shoulders.


Caledonian Volunteers
Regular Scots. No high-tech weapons. They wear kilt and glengarry. That's enough for them.
But it would be great looking if they have Bagpipe.
Though,INFINITY is game. If there is Bagpipe everybody will argue about balance between armies .....too strong.....Caledonian will become too strong with buff from Bagpipe



9th Wulver Grenadiers
Wulvers are half-breeds, Dogface(Dog like alien)/human hybrids.
Angry sottish werewolf. I like how his face look.

I paint all tartan like "Clan Wallace" pattern.
It's pain to paint tartan.....it took much times...but I'm satisfied with result.

So,this is all of my Caledonia for now.
I'm now working on William Wallace.

Nice looking force youve got there. I think the basing could use a little variation to break up all of that grass, but they look good nonetheless.

1st Highlanders S.A.S.
SAS but not Special Air Service. They are Special Ariadna Service.
He is looks like Terrorist more than SAS. I don't know why.
I painted camo pattern on his trousers. This is my first attempt.But photo.....I have better get one more light.

Hey man, thats sick! I just wanted to say one thing, though.
I really like the kilt idea, and I really want to put a 40k army together with a black watch tartan theme. Ive been painting some LotR miniatures as of late and practising my kilt techniques. It makes everything look ten times better if you paint intersecting double columns and double rows...
My painting isnt as great as yours, and the quality of the shot sucks... but you get the point.

This is some great work. I love the Ariadna stuff. You made them look good.

Angry Scots in real thick armor. Noble in Scots. Messenger of Teseum(real hard metal in INFINITY Universe).
I really like him. In game,his armor deflect most fire. He is like tank.


My Caledonians for now.
I'll add caterans(Scotish Sniper with Tartan!!) in near future.

Loving the small touches - the wooden hand grips on the rifles fit the Ariadnan feel perfectly and are nicely executed, especially at this scale (seriously, I've been spoiled by 40k's scale - I'm afraid to touch my Infinity models, they're so tiny!).

I like wooden part on the gun. My Haqqislam's gunl also got a wooden parts. Maybe not realistic for INFINITY universe,but I love it.
