Subject: 1500 point imperial footsloggers list

So, I've been in a bit of a useable list making spree lately, and so have come up with a list for a completely foot based Imperial Guard army. I know, it isn't meant to be the best fighting force out there that will just crush everything before it- it is to be a cool, impossible (due to the number of models needed and my reluctance with money, time, and painting), maybe even uncommon list that may or may not inspire. So, without further, adieu, I present this list for criticism/ review.
HQ
55 Company Command Squad (vox, 2 GL)
95 Iron Hand Straken
Troops
Platoon
45 Platoon Command Squad (vox, PW)
65 Infantry Squad (vox, AC)
45 Commissar (PW)
50 Infantry Squad
65 Infantry Squad (vox, AC)
50 Infantry Squad
Platoon
45 Platoon Command Squad (vox, PW)
65 Infantry Squad (vox, AC)
45 Commissar (PW)
50 Infantry Squad
65 Infantry Squad (vox, AC)
50 Infantry Squad
75 Heavy Weapons Squad (lascannon)
75 Heavy Weapons Squad (lascannon)
Platoon
45 Platoon Command Squad (vox, PW)
65 Infantry Squad (vox, AC)
45 Commissar (PW)
50 Infantry Squad
65 Infantry Squad (Vox, AC)
50 Infantry Squad
60 Heavy Weapons Squad (lascannon)
60 Heavy Weapons Squad (lascannon)
Elites
80 Psyker Battle Squad (7)
General strategy is to use 6 blobs of 20 men, the platoon lead between the blobs for each platoon, and the PBS protected with 1 blob in front and 1 blob in the back. The general idea is to shoot up the enemy and, if any get too close, to be able to use orders/ psychic leadership drain to slam the other 20 man blob and the PCS into combat once the enemy is engaged, presumably making somewhat short work of the given assault enemy, likely geared for dishing out pain, not receiving it, and few in number. Missile launchers go after all vehicles, as that is the only true anti-vehicle weaponry at use here, except the lucky cast of the PBS on a light vehicle. The infantry would have heavies were it not for the higher cost within them and the mass of anti-infantry firepower they are built to dish out instead.
Our name is legion and our number is countless. We are the Imperial Guard and we will rock you.

Er, how many points have you wasted on vox casters?
If you took them out the list would also be a lot more readable...!
Missile launchers not the most optimal heavy weapon squad either.

Add an AC to each squad, PW for Com and Sqt, maybe a special weapon of some sort (GL/MG/FLM).
AC help blobs when they go into CC (large base makes that 2" with in base contact easier to achieve and AC are good Anti Transport weapons).

One of the most powerful parts of an IG army are the special weapons slots on the CCS and PCS. Use them! I would look at melta for the CCS and possibly flamers for the PCS.
You only need one vox for each blobbed up squad.
Rather than 6 blobs of 20, without a commissar in each blob, I would go 4 blobs of 30. Stick commissar in each. 2 of them to be mobile so no heavy weapons and power weapons across the board (maybe even a priest). The 2 others can be more static and you can chuck heavy weapons teams in.
Separate Mortar squad HWS are not really worth it, you have more than enough anti-infantry with all those lasguns. If you want mortars stick them in a blob squad and take snipers as the special weapons for anti-horde duties.
Best use of HWS is autocannon or lascannon. Autocannon has the extra shots and lascannon extra strength while ML falls between the two. This is perhaps a converse to ML being the default for all marine armies.
If running HWS I like a Lord Commissar to babysit them due to his leadership bubble.

Where's Creed? Also guess the HWTs mostly have mortars because there's nothing mentioned by them. Could be a loads better army.

Changes made in favour of giving HWS vehicle destroying abilities, autocannons for all, and some power weapon effectiveness. By the way, power fists on LTs: good? Bad? mediocre?

Power fists are not good on Guard at all.

Lol, lasgun kills should be considered bonus kills, not to be relied on. I can count a few times where 20 shots killed a couple space wolves, but they cant be relied on to take down infantry on a constant basis.
