Hello everyone!

So after ten years collecting 40k, its time to start a proper army. As I have started many project none of theme were ever complicated, but this time, things will be different.

While i think Space marines are cool and all, they never appealed to me as a army. The whole true-scale thing, almost everyone collects theme and the static poses of the tactical squad(nitpicking, but...). But, having bought a lot of them during the yeas, stripping them, repainting them, stripping again, this time I will paint all of them up, and bee done with it. And improve my skills as a painter, not completing a single squad in even years is quit shameful

Enough rambling!
The army will have a last stand feeling, like the chapter has been in constant war for centuries, maybe on a penance-crusade, and now only destruction remains. Hence the title of the log. Standard Brothers will have a darker, more simpler scheme, while veterans will have more with color and a... “antique” feel to them.

Still not decided no a chapter-mark, maybe a fist or a shield?
Next step is to finish the first tactical squad, with flamer and missile launcher. Then terminators, or another tactual squad. Then there is some bikes, a really rag-tag dreadnought assault marines and finally some leaders. And there is no proper list of things, the order will be completely random!

Looking good so far. Remember you MUST have a command squad. No last stand is complete without a (ragged) banner to die to the last battle brother defending. Or a pair of hobbits, but that may be a stretch ;-)
