I wanted to make a nice Fallen Angels Diarama and then an Army but i cant find any fallen angel marine or banner pics other than cypher of course if anyone knows of any if you post it up here id be very greatfull

The fallen angels tend to be single Marines roaming the Galaxy rather than a big army. So you'd probably need to do a chaos army with one of the Fallen as the HQ choice, and maybe think of some personal iconography hat he makes his followers display. There are hundreds of the Fallen so you should be able o think of something that appeals to you.

I think you will have a hard time finding any articles on Games-Workshop's Warhammer 40K Fallen Dark Angels. Apart from Cyphon/Cypher there is not much out there.

I suggest to make up your own stuff, including fluff for a background strory on the diorama.

Imo your best bet for a diorama is would be a couple of robed marines back to back fighting off a gak load of deathwing with maybe a termie chaplain, belting the out of one, thrown in for good measure.

As for an army i'd think a seige of Vraks traitor list with a squad of fallen as elites would serve fairly well. Fallen are known for getting into positions of power (i.e Army commander, plantery govener, etc) so you could use one as your lord or use the chaos marine squad elite option with the rest of the army as a counts as PDF.

Or

If you really want to you could run them as dark angels but count them as the Caliban home guard after they got banished to Caliban by Lion El but prior to them turning to chaos during the HH. This means they would be painted black and you might have to convert them to look pre heresy but if done correctly it could be quite cool. As for banners or pictures of The Fallen, no banners to speak of and how they look is open to interpretation. You could have them look like regular marines to show they havent been as corrupted or you could have them as full blown chaos marines. Its up to you.

Thanks for all the help guys! For the diarama i plan on using a new converted cypher using only his arms, or maybie just the guns, and converting a SM with some gs and nice junk and i want him to have his arms pointing in either direction surrounded by some DA and as for what Azul said i think i might go down that path as ive always wanted to take the time to convert some pre heresy models anyway

About the only rule of thumb would be black armor, rather then Green/White, and avoid the native American iconography on the Deathwing...

Yeah they wear the pre heresy colours of the dark angels afaik.

To say that the Fallen Angels do one thing another is well...it's kinda wrong, in my opinion.

They aren't organized. Very few of them have contact with one another. They don't get together and hold "Fallen Angel Groupmeets" every few years.

The only thing that usually even distinguishes them as a member of the Fallen will be a piece of black armor, usually a very archaic piece that is uncorrupted like a piece of Iron or Crusade armor with no sigils of the Ruinous Powers on it.

Some will also still wear a tabard or habit from the Orders of Caliban, but not all will.

Basically you can do whatever you want to make him look like however you want. The Fallen have no uniform, and some which have actually gone over to the Ruinous Powers actually now wear the colors of the Traitor Legions.

Maybe you could use dark angels veteran models and such but paint a chaos symbol here and there. Then you could run them as chaos proxies or dark angels proxies

I think i will do a small force of DA and make them like cyphers armor black and ancient looking with bones and skeletans and stuff

I will post mine tomorrow when its light out so they might be able to help you out for ideas. There is actually a good bit of info on them if you Google dark angel fallen from various sites. My HQ is Cypher, Voice of the Emperor 5 of his elite 30 troop elite type and 5 termies.

Expanding on existing fluff but using alot of where GW left off. Simply Cypher is on a mission to get to the emperor as GW said (always moving closer to terra with the sword). He's also been called The Voice and it says that Fallen are Drawn to him. So out of the 200 stationed on their home world and after the civil war they had, I just made up 41 were left and Cypher has called them for one final rally to make sure he completes his mission. When he has been captures GW has had him always vanish and been called away from whatever being aiding him.

For models,I used all the upgrade sprues for 16.50 GW sells so they all have the robes. Mashed Sang guard kits for wings and special power weapons/relic blades. Lots of Plasma because that is what Dark angels used heavily.

As stated above they wore red and black, one shoulder had green on it for their homeworld
Made my own bases from Sculpy clay and a mold. Tried to represent fragments of their temple where the battle took place. Runes carved on top.
