I've recently started playing WHFB, and bought the IoB to start off my Skaven army. I decided to stick with Skryre, becuase I love the Skaven tech. So here I'm starting out with my fully painted warlock engineer.
I'm also going to have Eldar, SM, and some other projects I'll be working on.

I've played way too much Gears of War recently.
I've decided to start a fun project heavily inspired and based off of the Gears of War series. I'm going to be creating a specialized squad of Ork Nobz equipped with Lancers, Chain grenades, Snub pistols, a Boomshield, and more.
With reference, nobz will be equipped with the lancer assault rifle:

Other nobz will have smoke grenades:

And maybe even a frag grenade. (Left and middle)

I also plan to build a boomshield out of plasticard, greenstuff, and cannibalized ork parts. Reference pic:

I'm also planing to paint the crimson omen (my avatar pic, except in red) on each nob.
Anyway, cog armor will be sculpted onto the bodies of each nob. I will commence the project when my order arrives.

Edit: I didn't paint the base for any who are wondering. I don't normally base a model until I'm ready to base the entire squad/army.

Finally after hours of labor, the first Gears of Waaaagh! ork is finished and ready for painting. Bear in mind that this is my first sculpt.
This here fella is armed with smoke grenades, a Gorgon pistol, a Gnasher shotgun, a do-rag, and gears armor (GoW 3 style.).

@davidjones: I've been working on my skaven a bit, and the bull of the army will be dipped. Characters, warmachines, etc. will not be dipped and will be hand-painted instead. I'm going to have more stuff up soon.
