Hey guys,

I love having the old school stuff mixed in with the new. I believe it adds interest to the army, have a look at him, what do ya think? Do you use old models? or are you a New release mini type guy/girl?

Any comments are appreciated, here or on youtube.

Even though that's a fairly old mini (3rd ed) it still has pretty modern features, like the Godwyn pattern bolter. Even so, glad you like mixing in retro models too! I also paint Crimson Fists and mix in lots of older minis, like RT beakies and the like. He looks good, and the freehand on his shoulderpad is awesome.

Awesome, i love mixing the old and the new. But i can't believe you put a dremel near your model, my dad did that to a VC character i had to strip the paint...she now looks like a tau...no facial features what so ever XD

Looks sweet as hell, excellent idea to use him as dev sarge. He looks the part in posture and equipment, really nice.

That model is full of character. A lot of the old school models are too nice not to use!

I used that model for a devestator sgt and just counted the scanner in his hand as a signum. I've been using these techmarines ever since I started playing. Sorry, broken camera so I can't take pics of the actual models
