Well...here is my first stab at painting black templars...I gotta highlight the metal on the power weapon still...but other than that it seems pretty spot on

EDIT I seen how bland the iron halo looked so I highlighted the edges with mithril silver...

That's excellent work. If you want to add a little more depth to the halo, add a tiny spot of chestnut ink to each of the rivets, so it pools around them.

The back caps looks like it comes from the plastic SM captain?

I'll get a new pic of him posted when I get home tonight and yes the cape is from the commander box set, you get alot of nice pieces in there

I colored the wings on the chest fortress grey to break up all the cream color, highlighted the halo with mithril silver, covered up the crack on the base with snow, and highlighted the metal on the mace with a little mithril silver as well =)
