I put together this little step by step for the new TableWar Custom Tray system, www.tablewar.com , using the following

Unit-Tray Base
Some of the Diorama Unit Washers
Superglue
Painters Tape
Lightweight Spackling
PVA Glue and Standard Mini Basing Materials

It took about 30 minutes of working time plus a few hours of drying time for the Spackle. Now that I've done this I think I could get that down to 15 minutes working time. I might try and add some of the Terrain bits to the Spackle while it's still wet and see how that works as well.

I think it came out really well. I will do another step-by-step, maybe with video, doing a Custom Unit-Tray for an Imperial Guard Squad with a Heavy Weapons Team next. I need to get those done for my next League

Please let me know what you think.

Hmmm, I like it! Hopefully the price isn't nuts.

It's only $3.50 for the base and the Washers come in Sets for $1.50

Another cool thing. These Unit-Trays have 1/4" holes in each corner underneath to fit Magnets.

if you want an easy cheap substitute you can just cut PVC to make the washers.
