Hey Dakka,

Starting a new blog for my current evil sunz army, I know most of you hate reading long and stretched out intros so I guess I'll jump straight into the current army. I guess I'll start with my two HQ units.

Ork Warboss (Blitzbad)

(The gap in the base is temporary, as im making way for an attack squid...)

Ghazghul Thraka (Freight Train)

Hope you guys like these mini's, they are the centre peices in my Evil Sunz army.

In the next post I'll be posting my gretchin, WIP deffcoptas, Nobz, Boss Snikrot and a few more peices I've been woking on.

After seeing the terrible Aobr Captain sitting on my desk I decided to convert him for a friend:

(Not painted yet, the model still has old coats of paint, before the conversion....)

I'll update a little more tommorow

Thanks, The warboss was actually one of the first orks I painted, that was back when i was obsessed with getting EVERY detail right. I sometimes still do that, but with squads i prefer to keep them tabletop standard.

This was the first metal mini I got, way back in 2010. I don't really use him in the game but i just bought him for the looks

One thing I forgot to post was my Runtherd for my gretchin, So here he is:

I like your orks. My favorites are the 'koptas and Snikrot.

How did you make that banner on the nob? (or what did you use?) I'd like to make a Waaagh-banner as well - but not sure how to do it.

More orks and Dark Angels in the P&M section. Feel free to leave a comment, trash it, cheer me up, lurk or : http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/423220.page#3790852

Thanks for the comment. The banner was one of the banners from the warriors of chaos box:

http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440109a&prodId=prod1040516

The picture displayed in the picture isn't the banner i used (The box comes with two).

I posted some earlier pics of my trukk in the showcase forum, and using the comments I recieved I did some work on it. I am overall quite happy with it. But (as always) there are many things i would like to fix.

Pictures of the trukk before he was fixed:

Here she is...

The mud on the wheels were done with this method:

Also, If anyone has a name they'd like to give my trukk, go ahead and post in the comments.

Thanks for the comment, the warboss is my most proud mini...

Ok, so here's what happened today:

I open my cuboard looking for something to build or paint. So I grab my ork trukk off the shelf. Before I know it the entire shelf falls apart and scatters from 10 to 12 mini's all over the floor, along with basing sand, paints, boxes full of hobby supplies etc. I guess I had too much weight on the one shelf. What does this leave me with? 4 Nobs are broken (Broken Heads, Powerclaws, bases and arms) my Boss Snikrot is also broken, and so are a few warbikes that I was about to post.

After a few painfull minutes of banging my head against the wall, I decided to begin re-assembling them. But I now need to use super glue, as my usuall plastic glue cannot hold the bond anymore, and beleive me, I HATE super glue.

Here are some pics of my broken mini's:

Here is a (blurry) pic of my entire army. I have been building it for about 2 years now, as i phase out of the hobby quite a bit.

unlucky dude, but maybe you could use this as a opp to redo some thing to make them more awesome? still that whole model shelfs falling down thing has happened to me a few times now and the best way to deal with it is just to remake the stuff better and then not put it on a shelf again, anyway hope this des'nt set you back too much

Unlucky with that shelf. Sorry to hear that - dont know what I'd do if a bunch of my minis got broken

Nice weathering on the trukk.

Thanks guys, i think almost everyone has (at one point) broken their mini's. But im going to use this as a chance to fix up all my previous mistakes and make some of the mini's better. Turns out the one of the support beams for the shelf wasn't even there, so it was a living deathtrap for my mini's the whole time! So, after this, i decided to start building an army case for them, i will posts some pics in a little, i think the case is coming along nicely.

Thanks for all who have commented
