Subject: My miniature case - $40 (Battlefoam standard)

Hey guys, im not sure if im in the right forum for this, but I'd like to share with you the project I completed. One quick thing before i get started: I am in no way trying to offend any miniature case companies, I am an owner of a battlefoam bag, so I know the quatlity of their bags. For the past year I've been thinking about getting a case for my orks, I looked around at all the miniature cases on the market. I seriously considered buying another battlefoam case when i realised i can get the same thing for $40, not $140. The case i used was actually a suitcase (With a hard inner shell) for $15, the case is roughly 3' by 2.5' by 1.5'. This is about the size of a battlefoam pack 432. This suitcase is just your ordinary suitcase, so if you wanted to make one, you could probably use an old suitcase lying around the house. The case i bough has a nice zip on the front; great for holdin gmy codex, rulebook, dice etc. I bought the foam from a discount foam supplier for $25. $10 for the bottom layer and $15 for the main foam. I then cut the foam accordingly and glued the top to the bottom. The results: C&C appreciated.

But I'm guessing you have none of those nearby. I shop you CAN use would be a pool shop. When i was looking for foam I saw a few pool shops that stocks this kind of foam, although the foam store i went to was alot cheaper. Hope this has helped.
