Hi All

Anyone who follows our sexy awesomeness plog will have seen the development of this product here and there, at long last it's almost ready to go live on the website . We still have a couple of alternate fence styles to paint up, followed by a proper glamour photoshoot, but here's a sneak peek teaser to get people excited Cue music:

PREEEEEEEE - SENTING! The first product in Warmill's new Street Wars range is the Security Compound, a combination of resin, acrylic and MDF parts. Available in 4 styles of fence panel, with 4 options for gatehouse detail plate, to allow you to customise your compound to your favoured scenario or gaming table. Choose from Recreational zone, Quarantine zone, Evacuation zone or Peace Enclosure. Accessorise your compound with watchtowers and a security booth!

Maybe a zombie outbreak's been reported in your city, and the military have moved in to close off the infected parts in order to scan and 'process' (execute) any carriers, but the zombies have begun massing at the wall! Maybe a fascist government's police force is oppressing the people, and a team of guerillas is attempting to demolish the security checkpoints that have come to symbolise that oppression in the first strike of a civilian uprising! Maybe your planet's been invaded, and the army have been frantically securing urban zones in the absence of a proper defensive line! Or maybe your table has a nice park for your civilians to wander around in in their plentiful leisure time! Well how could you even think about playing any of these games without a Street Wars Security Compound???

The kit is totally modular, and can be bought either as a complete set or as a range of expansion packs for even more compoundicity. For a limited pre-order period, the large compound set will come with the Security Booth absolutely free. The booth will be available later through the website. More pictures showcasing the complete range will follow shortly!

We'll be launching and dispatching pre-orders on Monday 5th December! More details will be posted in this thread shortly, along with a link to the webstore.
Cheers all!

Superb. Do I understand correctly that there are two more fence styles to be shown?

Yep, we still have the Recreational Zone and Evacuation Zone fences to show, as well as a couple of Gatehouse detail plates.

Crazy question, but we have seen blue and yellow for fence decals, so is there a red one?

Very impressed.

Quarantine fences are in dire need of some cold ones escaping and a game hunter whispering 'clever girl...'

Ahh yes the Dinosaur scenarios! We'll go for green and purple for the next set of fences I think.

How about zombie dinosaurs?

Purdy, very purdy.

Will there be a half height version of he fence or is that possible with the existing kit?

How about zombie dinosaurs being ridden by a skinny wizard?

In downtown Chicago, of course!

Alternatively: vampire-zombies, ala "I Am Will Smith".

Yeah one of the things mentioned was a half height version - and extra bits to stick on to add different detail / height etc....something to do with laser fences or something

That's a tall order, we only have regular Nazi Dinos with tanks.

@Warmill, it seems all your topics you make end up being populated by random dinosaur pics (though I love the one above ), I get the feeling I am missing out on something!

It's because the tops of containment walls resemble the ones that keep all the Dinos in their cages in the Jurrassic Park movies. Not a bad thing IMO as I love the design and it has me planning games themed around pout of control Dino Parks populated by fantasy lizardmen, or replicating a Starship Troopers set up.

sexy! Does warmill sell to stores or direct only?

Selling to stores is the next stage in our plan to take over the world. We've sold quite a few battlesnap kits to the US and Australia, but the postage is a killer (we take a big hit on fortresses to ship to non eurozone countries. Stupid heavy MDF) so getting some stockists over there would be the ultimate goal, but for it to be worthwhile they would need to use a freight forwarder or the cost of shipping would be more than the retail price of the kit.

It seems really nice terrain for INFINITY!

Dose this kit require glue?
I mean I want to assemble/disassemble at game club.
I do not want to carry larger parts.

The fence panels just slot into the resin bases and the watchtowers fit together very snugly without glue. The security booth and gatehouse in the pics weren't glued together, so you can get away without it, but because of the small size of some of the parts theyre not as strong as the battlesnap stuff.
