Hi guys

This thread will be dedicated to my Classic Bad moonz Ork makeover!

For years this as been my favorite ork minature, it was also the first one I ever bought. Clearly this minature is well out dated with its odd gun and squshed features. So I intend to skatch build/kit bash an updated modern ork version as identical to the original as I can get.

LOOKING FOR HELP/COMMENTS ON HOW TO DO THIS, PARTS TO USE ETC.

ALSO PLS POST ANY PICS U HAVE SEEN OF ANYONE ONE ELSE ATTEMTING THE SAME, WE'VE ALL SEEN THE UPDATED GHAZGHUL.

at first i was just gonna just use a plastic nob but now im thinking do a ghazgul and whack'im in a PHAT-OFF suit of metal!!!!

any idea how to do the spiky chest armour???

Goodluck with your idea, should be fun to watch. However I think the old model still has a place in 2012, its a classic, one of the old timeless models.

The spikey chest armour, I'm pretty sure Chaos have some bits on armour that look like that somewhere, maybe you could get them to donate?

Spiky chest armor: use either green stuff disks with a cocktail stick (toothpick) tip pressed into it or a piece of plastic rod (thick), cut off slices and attach stick tip (or bayonet tip, spear tip, whatever)

Some of the bands in his armor look roman influenced, but all the roman figs I know would be too weedy for use on orks...again, greenstuff looks to be the answer
