After an extended break, I have finally gotten back into the game. To start this blog what better then a custom built (counts as) Leman Russ. Basically, I wanted to build a smaller version of the FW Macharius super heavy, and in some respets this tank has a similar line, but the similarities aren't as prominent as I first imagined. Chimera tracks, Leman Russ turret and a whole lot of custom weaponry. The tandom mounted heavy stubber, the cusom pintle mounted lasgun (counts as a hotshot lasgun) and the rocket pod are all ideas taken from the Israeli Merkava MBT.

next on the menu is a simple fixer upper, my brothers abandoned Leman Russ, time to make it worthy of its name! here is the before.

The Leman Russ salvage actually turned out pretty cool. Had a chance to try some interesting ideas, and to reproduce the pintle mounted hellgun that i made for the first tank (which was actually quite easy!)
So here you go, ignore the paint chips and scratches, those will disappear once i apply some primer.
