This is my Nurgle Sorcerer that I've been saving up for months to paint as a reward while I was finishing studies. I'm taking him to the BMSS show in Bath this weekend, no idea what the competition will like but it's high from what I recall of years ago.

Here's a view of all four sides.

And a dramatic pic of him walking!

That Nurgle-shaped base is nifty.

The model itself is neat, perhaps a little too neat for a Nurgle sorceror. Personally I think I would have gone with a little more OSL of the lantern. Good job though (I like the heads on the banner).

I considered OSL, in my head the figure would have that and look like a GD wonderpiece, but I just wasn't confident in being able to do it. It's not something I've done before.

Cheers for the other comments! The figure has come a long way since this first picture where I'm sure people were thinking 'yuck', had doubts myself at that point.

I liked that first picture actually. The yucky factor was higher, even if it was a little monochrome back then.

Finland... the country next to Sweden? No! That's Norway! Finland is to the east! No! That's Russia!

Wow! Even the base is a mark of nurgle!
I actually have this same model, but still unassembled. Mind if I copy you a bit?

Sweet Jesus, Nurgle and Slaanesh in the same box!?
No, just Nurgle and Slaanesh, Jesus will be sold seperately in a blister.

Hi all, well I did the show! I got a highly commended, though they handed quite a few of these out but not everyone got one so that was something.

In previous years there have been many categories but now it was down to five so the single figure class was pretty large. The standards were very high.

Anyway, I took pictures of some of my favourites and they are in this gallery.

I disabled voting on these, partly because they are not mine but also because the lighting in the place was especially harsh and the photos do not do these justice at all. Top end stuff.

Almost what I found the most impressive... No really, it looks great, great job.

I've got a couple of preachers to join my Sorcerer and have painted the first.

And photographs from all four sides...

Here.
