Hi Guys,

This is my first post here. I thought you might like to see my Red Scorpion Army. I've only just started it but I have sooooo many armies on the go its unreal! I am determined to get this one finished though. I'd appreciate comments and would love to see some other Red Scorpion armies too.

Whoah, awesome! Can you give me a run-down of the parts you used for the Terminator Captain? That's a really fantastic looking model!

Thanks for comments guys. The captain is a hodge podge of bits from the Space Hulk terminators with a forge world Red Scorpion shoulder pad and a space wolves terminator cloak. The base is layered and sculpted plasticard.

I currently have the whole army but only the above is painted. Working on my first unit of Terminators then a land speeder I think.

That terminator captain conversion is excellent. The painting is smooth, the freehand is top-knotch and I love the subtle half-aquila on the inside. Definitely a mini to be proud of! That dread is of the same quality, but after seeing your captain, it seems to be lacking in a bit of detail. Maybe an arm painted in a contrasting, bold color? I dunno, it just seems to be mising something. Nonetheless, can't wait to see more, dude.

Thanks guys...I will have the first terminator squad posted in the next few days. Trying to keep everything clean for a change as I normally smother everything with battle damage!

I like the tones used for your scorpions. I generally see that putrid yellow players like to paint them with and yours are a refreshing change. The gray tones you chose to paint your models compliments the yellow well, nice work!

Realy nice soft texture on the armour. Its like chocolate!

The yellow on the gun is my favourite bit I think. Its just all making me think of cake!

And the Lenses are great and ofcourse the freehand scorpion too!

Full on, Full on!

Chocolate and cake......awesome. I can't believe I am subconsciously projecting my gluttony onto my miniatures now...I think this is Gods way of saying go on a diet.
