Don't say you never get anything for free - Ramshackle are currently giving away this model (for the cost of postage). It is pretty cool - nice lightweight resin, easy to cut, easy to wash (a single wash was enough compared with the FW kit I had to wash about 8 times before the paint would stick to it), and not bad for 40p

I went down the captured woman route so she has a few bruises and a bit of dirt on her (well, OK, that is actually how it turned out by accident - I suck at painting ). The entire thing other than the eyes and metal bands was painted only with washes on a white prime.

Nice, she looks really good. I like her skin tone, her dress and the base especially. She turned out really nice!

Guilliman and the Ultramarines are like Manchester United, everyone hates them because they are so awesome!

I like it! I don't know what it would be used for, but it looks like a fun sculpt to paint!

I was going to use it as an objective - my CSM are trying to sacrifice her, and my other armies are trying to save her

Cool, but is she 3-D? She kind of looks like a Nuremberg style flat miniature.

The secret to painting a really big army is to keep at it. You can't reach your destination if you never take any steps.

I build IG...lots and lots of IG.

She's fairly flat, JB

She is reasonably flat, though a lot more 3D than might be implied above

Just a quick crappy picture to show how much she projects from the rock. I think she is kind of in a hollow in the stone

I like how you've filed off the bony elbow, but I still can't get over the big hands and feet.

Nice paint job, though!

The resin is actually reasonably soft, so it was literally seconds with a knife to get a nice smooth elbow that looks like an elbow

The hands and feet could be cut down, but although large, don't really look too out of place compared to GW models, and certainly look OK at tabletop distance. I was tempted to do more work to the model, but it as I say, it looks fine at normal viewing distance.

And thank you

I think they are supposed to be that large because Trixie is "a Trap".

I'm not entirely sure that is in fact the case

But as I said earlier, the resin this is cast in is quite soft, so they would be easy to remove or trim if you really didn't like them
