I've been working on this for a few days and testing it, so far Its doing pretty well.

= tourney doesn't allow any vehicles with total armor value above a standard dreadnought.

how are the scouts working for you? im not a big fan of them personally but i can see the need for them at this point lvl

as for the pistol id get rid of it and give the priest a power weapon for the same amount of points.but your priest should avoid combat as much as possible

also with the libby powers...generally in tournaments your not allowed to change your powers from game to game. does your TO allow that? if not id go with the powers you have listed here. if your not sure about unleash rage you could always go with sanguine sword so you can insta-gibb just about anything and can deal with tanks just as easily. having the priest near by helps that power out a lot with having FC to make sure you hit first

For obj games scouts have been excelling literally giving me all of my obj wins. Also this is a precursor tourney to my shops 1000 next month so list finalization is hardly an issue. It has been going on for 3 weeks escalating 5-800 and stopping at 1000 two weeks from now. Woops! first post was mistaken, what makes you think a power weapon on the priest is any better than perhaps putting the infernus on the sarg or lib? You said it already avoid close combat with the priest. I interpret that as dont put any more points into him.

sometimes its difficult to keep a priest out of combat but if he gets stuck in combat id prefer to have 3 power weapon attacks over one melta shot

kk well lets talk long term if you have a moment. Assume I use this list as a core for say 1000-2000 point games, should all of my priests have power weapons? I'm asking this because I'm waiting on your opinion to assemble my priests. haha I have 2 spare power weapons and I am going to assemble 2 priests. What do you think?

you can build your priests with the power weapons and during the times you dont want to use them as power weapons you can use them as close combat weapons
