Hi Dakka. Here is my 1st ever fantasy character painted. Its a beastman Gor. Unfortunately, it looks much better in person. After taking the pics I and looking at them some things look worse. Maybe it was the lighting I'm not sure, but the shield looks much better in person. Anyways I think it turned out alright. Next time I'm going to do the skin/fur a fair bit lighter. Also I had a hard time deciding on what colour to paint the lil thing on his shield and belt buckle. I went with SoMach Orange with some mechrite blood mixed (very little) together. I'm not a huge fan of it but it was getting late and i didnt feel like experimenting with a bunch of colours so left it at that. Anyways comments and critics welcome.

I think that bold orange for those two plates is a poor choice of colour.

Yes I somewhat agree. I also don't prefer that colour. I think I will do either that colour but with streaks on black emminating out of the center ( like a sun with black rays) or a half black half white belt buckle. Do you like those 2 ideas?

Yes I like the 1st one better as well. Tommowor I am going to paint a new guy, so I will fix that guys shield and belt and paint the new guy in the way discussed here. Ill put some pics up too when I'm done. Prolly tommorow night.
