Finishing my Adepticon army. If the weather holds, I can prime my last 2 models this afternoon.

*Almost* finished an intact Mars Attacks building so I may see about printing some posters and signs to make it a bit cooler.

Hmmm what kind of stores or buildings are roughly 20-30 feet square? One of those really small gas station convenience stores? Tiny Mom & Pop?

I also want to finish the rest of my necromancer league and get them dipped tonight so I can get them on bases tomorrow so as to have the option to use them in a Pulp Alley game this week.

@Kronk, what are you bringing to Adepticon? I've thought about going (especially now that GenCon is probably out of the question due to scheduling), but I dunno that I'll have the funds to cover driving and hotel, just to play some games. Sounds really fun though.

I'm hoping to have a game tonight at my gaming club. Unfortunately I'm having a real hard time managing to get a game recently.

40k (which I find terrible), has been replaced in popularity at my gaming club with Star Trek Attack Wing... Which I also find terrible (oh, you're fielding a borg fleet, you win).

Oh well, I'm giving a Dropzone Commander intro Game tomorrow, which will be fun. Tonight I might bring along Imperial Assault or X-Wing, just on the off chance someone is there for a game.

I had a day off today, so I've been painting my Dropzone Commander minis, I've not quite finished my UCM starter set, but they're done enough that they look nearly finished - All the base coating is done and I've done the spot points, like the glass and lights. It's the rest of the highlighting that I need to do now.

I've been designing a narrative campaign for some x-wing buddies. Only got 11 more debris tokens, 6 turbo laser turrets, an exhaust port, a space station, a bunch of asteroids, a sith infiltrator and 3 dx-9 stormtrooper transports to make....

Better crack on!

Sanding and filling and sanding and filling and...

'Me' hobby projects have been derailed by a gift hobby project. Step-father-in-law has a birthday coming up and I'm making a little sculpture/diorama for him based on an inside joke. I seriously need to stop buying those cheap pine plaques for display bases. I know I'll insist on giving them a smooth finish and they simply aren't worth the trouble. By the end, I'll probably have spent as much time on the stupid base plaque as the entire scene being displayed.

Live and learn... and forget and remember and kick yourself in the ass.

Still want to finish the necro league...but plans kind of went sideways today.

I did get some more materials to potentially use for a game board. But hobbying was derailed by cleaning my hobby space. My wife was kind enough to help with removing my daughters stuff and even found a couple of her things ferreted away.

Guess I'll have to use hobby time tomorrow to finish the job and organize my hobby and computer tables...

Argh, getting to 200 is proving quite the slog, just a single TIE Fighter done today! I guess I could call Luke done as well, but I'm not hugely happy with him (only having 3 colours works as a costume design, less so as a paintscheme!), which would put me on 198.

I will hit it tomorrow, though. 5 Osgiliath Veterans are primed, as is an Imperial Fist Honour Guard Champion.

Finished my undead giant.

Still working on Kaladrax, but being distracted by other projects.

Finished 2 more wraithguard. 6 to go.

One more evil toy to paint to complete the set.

I also have a large tentacle marker to paint when i find the time. You never know when you'll need a tentacle on hand, after all..

Personally, I'm just amazed that a TIE Fighter is being painted. Repainting X-Wing minis that don't have a surname 'Horn' would quite possibly be so far into the bottom of my 'to-do' list that it wouldn't surprise me that the number would be about 4 thousandth and something...

I'm pretty happy tonight though, I got my Imperial Assault game in! It's surprisingly fun actually, a lot better than I expected. - I was pretty nervous about it actually.

We played the tutorial mission and the first campaign mission as a one off.

I think Paradigm is painting miscellaneous star wars miniatures/figures from a bag o' starwars figures thingie.

@Carlos, well you have less time and a lower total for your goal, so it's apples and oranges right?

Tried to finish building my Enforcers. Failed miserably: I still have 30 regulars and 10 Peacekeepers. Don't think I've been slacking though: check the "Enforcers Assemble" post in the Mantic section to see how many of the bastards I have built.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Yeah, it's not an X-wing game one, and maybe not as sharp/detailed. But hey, it was way cheaper (about £1 as part of a set) and a bit bigger, and works well enough with the homemade ruleset I use with it. They paint up rather nicely, though:

Have I missed a painting challenge? I could do with something to keep the motivation up! Second of the debris markers came out a lot closer to the ffg paint jobs, so I think I'll revisit the tie fighter tonight, once I've done the interceptor.

No challenge as far as I'm aware, the talk of numbers on this page is just a 'minis painted in 2015' log that a few of us bloggers are doing this year. Nothing formal, just a general motivational thing.

That detroyed TIE bomber looks awesome!

Today I'm going to finish painting my Treekin and Waywatcher for Regiments of Renown. I'll build the Dryads and Deepwood Scout as well.

Yesterday I got most of the painting done for my Waywatcher and Treekin, and broke open Dreadfleet after just having the box sitting in a closet.

Kick ass Para, your rate of progress is an inspiration to us all (or just me, I can only assume about the others ) Good work!

I'm gonna devour this Taco Breakfast (from tacobell, it's actually pretty good if I'm honest...) and if I don't slip into a food coma... I'm gonna base 10 more models bringing myself to a paltry 80 minis for the year.

I think I'm playing pulp alley this week so I need to turn out rosters for my two new leagues so i've got the choice of what to use in the game(s).

And I'm *definitely* going to try to work on clearing off my hobby desk since the rest of the hobby room is in a lot better of shape now.

Small household repair to make, then the gift project continues. Want to get it done and off the table so I can get back to terrain and get that off the table. My great hobby room cleanup stalled when I got to the (still project-laden) desk and supplies are starting to encroach on that reclaimed floorspace, since the desk is still in shambles.

Good luck with your cleaning, GrimDork - I apparently lack the necessary discipline, but one of us, at least, should manage!

The floor in here is still pretty solid, a couple of my daughter's toys have migrated back in but I'm going to be strict this time about quantity.

I was gonna start in on the desk today but I've had too many little things to do. I've got a similar slot of time tomorrow so that may be when I make my attempt. Gonna have to blow up the desk and start picking up pieces so I know how many containers and boxes I have to integrate back onto the shelves. No reason tidying up the shelves now, IMO, if I don't know how many more items I'll be wanting to store there after I sort the desk...

Gonna be a mess.
