Can I deepstrike a monolith and then use the dimensional corridor to deploy units that are in reserve on the same turn?

Dimensional Corridor must be used 'at the start of the movement phase'.
Reserves are rolled for 'at the start of [the] movement phase'.

Is there any specific order of operations that occurs here? Both say 'at the start' of the movement phase.

No as all that stuff happens simultaneously and the monolith isn't on the board yet.

I guess "technically" the rules don't say that the monolith must be on the board to use it.....but since the unit wouldn't be able to disembark from the portal they would be destroyed.

Yes you can use the portal because in the FAQ for the previous edition of the codex, it was said you could. And the wording is basically the same in this edition.

Unfortunately the FAQ for a previous edition has no bearing on rules for the current edition.

Nope. Dimensional Corridor works at the start of the turn and by the time the Monolith is on the table, it is no longer the start of the turn.

As above - no, you cannot use start of phase abilities the turn you arrive from reserves, as per the BRB FAQ.

Apparently this doesnt show that the start of turn is a simultaneous event, despite that being exactly what the BRB FAQ implies....

OK, so the consensus is No one cannot deepstrike a monolith with simultaneously using the dimensional corridor.
