Here is my tutorial for scratch building Ork Wheels which will be used massively in my ney Ork Blog. Scratch Built Speed Freaks The Kult of Segway

A finished example!

Materials
* Different types of Cardboard
-Thinner and more flexible Cereal box cardboard.
-Thicker more sturdy Shoebox Cardboard.
-Thin and flexible corrugated cardboard.
*Scissors or Exacto knife (Scissors are easier to use in this instance)
*Super Glue
*1mm hole punch.
*Coin or other round object, I used a AUD 5 cent coin. (Roughly 18-20mm in diameter).
*Barbecue skewer or toothpick .

Method

1. Cut out 3 discs of the thick shoebox cardboard using your coin as a template.
2 & 3 cut up a few odd pieces of thick card and super glue them between the three layers of cardboard. Think as if you are making a cardboard burger.
4. cut out a strip of the cereal box cardboard as thick as you want to have your wheel and about twice as long as you would need to wrap the whole thing around the wheel.

5a.Wrap the card around the wheel and cut of the excess. (Don't throw it away).
5b. Glue the cardboard in place.
6. Using the excess card cut out thin strips and glue them along at even intervals on the wheel.
7. Cut out a small rough circle for the hub cap of the wheel.

8. Cut out a small square and glue it on the middle of the hub cap.
9. Cut out a smaller square and glue it on the middle of the small square on the hub cap.
10. Now make as many rivets as you can using the 1mm hole punch.
11. Rivet the hub cap. I used a Barbecue skewer to apply the rivets to the wheel. I glued the area I was adding the rivets and then dipped my Barbecue skewer into a little bit of the super glue. I used the pointy end to catch the rivet on the end then pressed it down on the glued area and it stuck.

12. Add rivets to the plates that you added to the wheel earlier.
13. add some Orky looking scrap.
14. make a space for the Axel.
15. Paint.

Your done.

I hope this helps someone!
FP.

Very nice. With that amount of cardboard, its probably much more structurally sound than any vehicle an ork puts it on!

I am sure you meant to say that it made more "cents"

Thank you! I have been trying to find some way of making wheels for a long time!

Conduct While Gaming
While rolling a die, do not say, “Anything but a 1!” unless you wish the die to come up as 1. Any other such attempts to anger the “Dice Gods” will result in the existential equivalent of continuously flipping a coin and having it come up heads every time (for reference, see Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead). Your dice will be cursed to roll ones for everything other than morale checks, which will come up sixes.

ORK PLAYERS HAVE A LIMIT OF 1 SCREAMS OF WAAAAAAGH PER HOUR. violators will be forced to play tau.

Players with chimeras and las weapons shall pronounce chimera ki-mere-uh, not chim-ere-uh. Violators will be forced to play nothing but world eaters. Non-40k personnel must purchase and build a chimera.
