A rather simple question, what units are good to field with eGaspy?

There are plenty of options, but not boatloads of them are useful.
Does he want arcnodes?
Is a double bane setup too much or just the spot?
Soulhunters can't be ressed, but do they still form a good enough alphastrike?
Mechanithralls and brute thralls en-masse perhaps? He can ress Brute Thralls... right?
Bloodgorgers?
Black Ogrun?

Solos such as Wrathe and Tartarus seem rather strong with him when compared to other models, simply because of the damage they can do.

I am rather lost. It is an interesting feat and an interesting character, but balancing the units for him seems rather... complicated.

What warjacks does he like? Deathjack runs himself, and acts as a semi-arcnode, there can't really be a lot of bad things in including him can there? Or should one just be happy with a Nightwretch or two?

Forever ever more

Really, you tend to see eGaspy, an Arc Node or two, the Deathjack, Tartarus, and 2 units of Bane Knights. The rest is pretty much flavor to taste. Bile Thralls are good to use with the Excarnate trick to extend their threat range, but eGaspy is one of those casters where you can do well with just about any force mix as long as you can use his feat effectively.

Your goal is to shred as much of their armor as you can and try to produce a solid charge lane to punch Tartarus and several banes through. Not as useful now that your Spectral Legion models are ghostly instead of incorporeal (erattaed) so you can also use your feat as a super attrition method.

Remember, your goal is to bleed his army as much as you can while he tries to kill your units, and then you unleash the feat for the killing blow - either by crippling your opponent's force or killing their caster. eGaspy is very one dimensional, based around his feat and keeping him alive until he can use his feat, but that dimension is a very strong one.

Daragh Wrathe is also useful as he can extend the threat from the feat an extra inch.

Anyways, I personally run Asphyxious2 with both types of banes and Tartarus. Satyxis raiders if I can afford them and a couple of arc nodes. I haven't really used the bile thralls so I can't comment on them. The raiders are there to hold up the enemy advance and hopefully stop enemy shooting.

Bane Knights and Tart are minimum. Obvious synergy with feat and do things he wants: anti-heavy and ignores terrain.
Wrathe and WSC to support. Wrathe is a speed boost and a large base to hid behind while the WSC helps with upkeep hate, puppet strings, and free upkeeps of hellbound.
One arc node, if any. Some times a spot Excarnate or Deathknell proves to be devestating.
A case for mine Bile Thralls arrises.

So far:

eGaspy+6
Deathripper 4

10 Bane Knights 10
6 Biles 5
WSC 5

Tart 4
Wrathe 4

28 points out of 35 with 2 warjack points left.
I then would suggest the Siren to fuel the arc node, Gorman to continue the Cloud Spam. This gets you up to 32 points, and the last few points can to whatever that's left (Cankerworm fits, Gerlick Slaughterboarn, Bokur, etc).

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
