We've been doing some cheese farming over in tactics to try and figure out how to get extra Hunters from Hyperspace markers from Deathmarks.

Chrysis came upon a real jewel but I really think we need the opinion of the rules experts on this one.

On one interpretation you'd get to place a marker every time a unit of Deathmarks disembarks from a Night Scythe

Despite starting this, I fully agree with the above posters. While RAW there is an argument, do not do this. This can only go bad places.

As above, But with a reason:

deploying models is not the same as deploying units.

You deploy units before the game starts. this is very specific language in the BRB

The disembarking rules tell you how the unit disembarks by deploying the models within etc...

Two totally different things.

I think there's a RAW argument here as well

Besides, at some point you'd have to actually take advantage of those HfH tokens, right? What good is it to get 4 or more tokens if you aren't firing at the enemy?
