My local GW store is holding a Badab War Challenge, and I've joined!
So, to open this side-project type blog, My Mantis Warrior test model, looks way better in real life!

Its a good model its tidy but one thing pick out the helmet detail and it will look even more awesome!
Good job dude is the challenge to do an entire army?

Yes, in 3 months, but I joined a month and a half late, so I have loads of catching up to do.
And the model is no where near done, but I mainly did it for the armour.
And one shoulder pad is busted up...

I could never do that atm I am assembling my Dark Eldar (Slowly) and then I will paint no doubt.

My recommendation for your Executioners is to A) pick up some World Eater Chainaxes from Forgeworld and B) Pick up some Black Templar Axes, cope the top and the back off and convert into more typical power axes. They even have chains on...

there are some nice lamenters shoulder pads out there. mousemuffin designs i think. the guy has a good price as well. plus hes in ozzy, so shippings good too.
