Hey so my buddy gave me a model to paint, one of his old metal sword brethren models. I always thought these were cool, but the guy had a mustache. It might just be me but I'm not a huge fan of mustaches on marines. So I had to cut off his head, replace it with a BA helmet. I used green stuff to try and make it look like his robe was wrapped around his shoulder area kind of like a scarf. (Mainly because I have zero sculpting experience and ragged cloth thing is about all I can get greenstuff to look like.)

PS: My buddy who plays templar is also a huge Wrestling and NWO fan, so that's the explanation on the shield.

I like it very much! He looks rough and ready! One thing though, the paint looks a little thick.

Looks great, the only thing is the shield look wired to me. I don't know why?

I think some of what your pointing out is due to some sloppy green stuff work.
The shield is covered with green stuff. I had tried to shave off the details of a regular assault marine shield, (aquila, medals) and when that didn't go well i covered it with green stuff to try and smooth it out. If I ever make a templar again, I'll just try to find a shield part to use from another kit.
