Do you think Batman will die in Dark Knight Rises? I think he will because Bane has a reputation of being the batman killer, it's Christopher Nolan's final Batman film and I think the death of Batman would

have a more meaningful impact with the audience and characters in the film.

Bruce Wayne might die, but Batman will live forever!

Though I have been mulling over something. In BB Ra's tells Bruce "...you become something much more....you become a legend Mr. Wayne". The poster and trailer specifically state "The Legend Ends". Not sure what to make of it, or if I am already making to much of it.

You seem to forget the "infalible" logic that Batman wins, therefore he cant die Batman vs Superman? Batman wins. Batman vs the EMPRAHHH, Batman wins.

Batman is never beaten in battle. If he wins, he wins. If he dies, he dies so it don't count as beat. If he runs for it he don't die neither, so he can always come back for anuvver go, see!

Batman won't be killed(at least not permanently) because TDKR will make millions of dollars and they will have to make another one to make more millions.

Except you can die, and still win.

I don't know if Batman will die, but I suspect Bane will beat him physically, only for other people inspired by Batman to defeat Bane.

You might be right, Cheese - Nolan and Bale going out in style. Bane will break his back fo sho; if he killed him that would give Bale (and Cane) a clean break from the franchise.

He can die as they can always just make someone else Batman or fill in a gap somewhere.

Wayne being killed is probably the only way to ensure the Trilogy ends, without some other director trying to make another sequel in the same universe.

I don't think Batman/Bruce will die, but I can see Batman ending. Bane has broken the Bat in the comic, and somebody else had to step up and fight for him.

I could see this being a use for Catwoman. I never thought that Catwoman was a perpetual villain. She always seems to fall more into the Chaotic Neutral category for me.

So if the Bat breaks, I can see Catwoman and the people of Gotham rising up to the villains...

Batman dying in order to inspire the people of gotham to pull themselves out of the darkness would definitely fit the themes of the trilogy IMO, I mean you either die a hero...

I think he's stated that robin definitely won't be in the film.

For Knightfall it was Azrael, but Dick Grayson (OG Robin aka Nightwing) has been Batman a few times.

Nolan and Bale have said, since Batman Begins, there will be no Robin in these movies.

No. Because there is already another batman movie lined up after this one. Its just the current actor won't be playing him. Its the same character and everything. Might be a plastic surgery or something.

Not really. The next Batman film is going to be the first in a larger DC Universe film franchise (along the lines of what Marvel is doing) and is reboot.

The current Batman Trilogy is slated to end with the Dark Knight Rises and will be the last with Bale, Nolan, etc.

I don't think they'll kill Wayne though. I think he will cease to be Batman however by the end possibly.

Also, the parallels between Bruce Wayne and Patrick Bateman (american psycho) are uncanny. I never noticed, but they're both similar in many respects.

Won't matter. The next Batman movie will just be a reboot.

Saw the preview yesterday. It was ok but didn't excite me. And THAT replacing the awesome Michelle Pfeiffer? Seriously?
