Hey, just curious what others try to do more of. I'm torn between forming lists that are more hitty ( more damage oriented such as stronger general, best upgrades like big uns etc) or hordy and using those points to field as many blocks as I can even if they are not that upgraded to be strong.

I was trying to see if there is a good in between but still looking.

Right now my lists normally compromise of a powerful Black Orc War Boss General, Big'Uns, Black Orcs, Chariots etc. Horde of NG with Fanatics. Working with that.

But also wondering if I should just reserve my points, especially from my General, keep my General back since he'll be weaker but use him for IP, and using more points to just field more blocks of gobs and Orcs.

Not sure. What is your preference and why?

I like big mobs, especially orc ones. Theres nothing better than a horde of 40-ish big-uns with a general and bsb in the unit.
So personally I like hordy, but hitty hordy if that makes sense lol.

Well, you could always go with both at the same time. Lots of Black Orcs and Night Goblins.

And Savage orcs. They are a good hitty horde.

From what I've seen in 7th (haven't played 8th as of yet) the Hordey-er the better. And now with a lot of folks calling 8th "Hordehammer" I can only assume that horde lists have improved.

Note: I do know a lot about 8th, like the "Horde" formation...

This is true as well. Really it depends on what you prefer, OP.
