Far and away the coolest ark I've seen. Is that a mix of dwarf bronze and brown on there?

Did you know? The Reach belongs to the Forsworn.

I like the edging. How many layers of edging did you do? That is the only thing I have yet to do to my necron vehicles. Soooo many edges. Looks fantastic.

3 passes at the edges. 1 brown, 1 tin, 1 gold. All drybrushed. Then I cleaned up with Platesteel by Reaper (discontinued), which I undercoat all my Necrons with.

I can't say I care for the green. The shade is just weird I guess. I know it isn't your intention (osl was apparently), but I would make the green more tealish and try to make it look like a tarnish affect. It might increase its looks a lot even though you have lost of osl.

Nice, I like it when the Necrons have an aged look.

I think this spam bot also enjoys it.

i love the color scheme, the hint of bronze gives it a great color and it looks aged. the green detail makes it look glowing which is cool, the colors just mix very well. Nicely done.

Nice paint job.

Was it as big of a pain in the arse to put together as it looks like it is?

Yeah, kinda!

You really have to paint it in pieces. The booklet suggest painting each rib, the Lord, and the "cab" seperate. For this I painted the Lord and the cab together, as I wanted the Lord to looks like he was part of the vehicle, like he'd been sitting there for millions of years.
Anyway, it is definately the most intricate model I have put together and I have Tau, Deamons, Tyranid and PP Cryx.
